Samuel Eto'o (Inter Milan) ---> Anzhi Machatschkala

"An agreement has been reached between Anzhi and Inter for the transfer of Samuel Eto'o," read a statement on the Russian club's official website.

This is probably the greatest transfer does not only for Anji and Dagestan, but and also for the Russian championship as a whole. Congratulations to all the fans of Makhachkala club with this transfer! :P

30 in Russian league? :) i think he will play still play in 5 years (if he has motivation) in another club after Anzhi contract end imho. If he´s in good form, and has good players around him, he will score a lot..

not to mention whole world eyes are on Anzhi waiting who they buy next, this means money for the club..

Eto is smart move, he is quality, champion who won everything in every club he´s been (except Mallorca) and he is a magnet for fans + will sell shirts etc etc.. it´s great move and the money will return for them..

I like Nasri but now I lost a bit of respect. Maybe it is unfair to him but he just moved from an undoubted started to probably a bench player.

Anyway, Galliani announced Aquilani. Free loan with an obligation to buy for 5M spread over 3 years if he plays 20+ games. Aquilani has also got €2.2 million severance pay from Liverpool. Awesome.

another bad decision by newcastle managment... given, caroll, nolan, enrique, barton... good path for another trip to npower championship.

whos next to leave?

Yea, a bit odd, I dunno what the f*ck is going in that club, awful management both in transfers and staff department. Enrique and Barton are both great player (I don't rate Carroll at all mate, he's overrated imo) but again the board seems to like getting ride of their best players. A cloudy future in the making at St James Park I guess.

expected outcome... he was bad last two years... only spotlight was that goal against bayern in CL.

Well, I thought he was great in his first year at Inter under Mou management. I remember him being an important piece in the treble complementing an outstanding offensive trio along Eto'o and Milito (another one who has lost importance in the club after Mou's exit). I hope he can bounce back at San Paolo.

EDIT: Sporting gets Insúa from Liverpool.
