I know he's signed a loan deal for Boro.

Glaviste had posted him as previously playing for Cruizero before editing his post.

Mustapha Hadji (Aston villa) ---> Espanyol (Loan till end of season)

Robinson's transfer fell through due to a rule which only allows x amount of Premiership players on loan, or something. ie Spurs would have bought him then loaned him back to Leeds for the rest of the season. I'm not sure if it's to do with loan players in total (Sakho, Camara, Domi etc) or just Prem loaned players (Pennant etc).

It's 'cos in the Premier League a team cannot pay for a player without actually having him. Not as in brown love but as in at the club. I dunno why they just didn't sign a first-option contract then. Two million pounds to help Leeds, Robinson coming in the summer, all above board.

Well apparently World Cup semi-finallist Ilhan Mansiz is almost done completing a move from Besiktas to Japanese Vissel Kobe.

Career move, then. :l

02/04/2004. Milan and Barcelona seem prepared to swap Rui Costa for Marquez.

The Italian team needs a good experienced defender to substitute the aging Maldini while Barcelona have been following Rui Costa for years.

The clubs might meet later on to discuss this possible deal.

(from soccerage, so it could well be a heap of bull.)

This thread that i started should be renamed. Hold up guys. January is over!

Has Marcelo Bordon officialy left Stuttgar?Al lot of sites tell me different things.
vfbstuttgart.de still has him in the squad.
Soccerage tells that he has been snatched bij Schalke, yet is he still in Stuttgart's squad..

Hmm, did Schalke buy Bordon, but will not get him until the summer?

We had £5mill roughly in the jan window, so we should have that plus maybe another £4-5million. If we win the cup though we could well be looking at a kitty of £12-15million. 1 prolific striker and one up and coming striker would do me. Maybe Viduka and Ricardo Fuller. Im not too sure whos available though.

Three targets for Man United in the summer off manutd.com. Joaquin Sanchez,Arjen Robben and Hatem Trabelsi.

Here I Joa
Spanish star Joaquin last night insisted he is poised for a £14million summer transfer to Manchester United. The 23-year-old Real Betis winger has been watched several times by Old Trafford scouts this season. And Spain international Joaquin claimed: "It is incredible to hear United want me. It gives me an unbelievable feeling to think of supplying ammunition for strikers of the quality of Ruud van Nistelrooy."
Jim Keat, News of the World

Robben's in the bag for Fergie
Some welcome news for Sir Alex Ferguson. PSV Eindhoven striker Arjen Robben has become the most wanted teenager in Europe since his talks at Old Trafford, but his father Hans, also his agent, said: "My boy won't sign for anyone else, not even Real Madrid or Chelsea."
Joe Melling, The Mail on Sunday

£4m Hat's off to join United
Ajax defender Hatem Trabelsi looks set for a £4million summer switch to Manchester United after the Dutch club agreed he could leave at the end of the season. United boss Sir Alex Ferguson tried to sign the Tunisian right back last summer only to be blocked by the Dutch side.
Steve Bates, The People

Chelsea and Rennes have agreed a deal that will see Czech goalkeeper Petr Cech move to London this summer.
