I think you're wrong mate .
It's probably the "best" deal of the season meaning the surprise to see such players (specially Tevez) in a club like West Ham.
But:
1 - it's only a loan (it seems)
2 - there are other most impressive deals in football history. Take the example of Napoli when taking Maradona for example, Napoli were a very popular club in it's region but meaningless in terms of titles and history, and at a given moment they sign the best player of the world in those days.
But if those players were coming to Sporting CP with such a surprise I would surely be happy as hell. Tevez is a very complete player, a very gifted one.
