I think you're wrong mate :).
It's probably the "best" deal of the season meaning the surprise to see such players (specially Tevez) in a club like West Ham.

But:

1 - it's only a loan (it seems)
2 - there are other most impressive deals in football history. Take the example of Napoli when taking Maradona for example, Napoli were a very popular club in it's region but meaningless in terms of titles and history, and at a given moment they sign the best player of the world in those days.

But if those players were coming to Sporting CP with such a surprise I would surely be happy as hell. Tevez is a very complete player, a very gifted one.

west ham have stated they have signed them on PERMANENT deals... so... there goes that idea.

i dont see them remaining with west ham for any longer than 2 seasons though.

yep. Fair play to West Ham, I have a soft spot for them. Their fans are great, the team plays entertaining football, its got perhaps the best record in youth development in England and they are a London club.

But....this will be a shock to everyone in football. However, I do think West Ham has the potential to burst into the top 6 in English football, even without the two Argies.

Is there any news on WH putting the MONEY to pay them? Were they bought FROM MSI?

I seriously doubt that. If they are still owned, even if 50% by MSI then they are on loan mate, and as soon as MSI want's it they fly away.

Of course that doesn't tarnish the idea of a great coup.

pundit on talksport said MSI offered the players to man utd and arsenal and they both said No. i think if MSI still owns the contracts than that would be a major put off the the big teams. maybe thats why we never saw the european giants go for them.

probably.

THat's why I suspect so much this talk about WH "buying" them.
There are 3 causes for Tevez and Mascherano ending in WH and not in other bigger clubs. Decide for yourself which seem more reasonable:

1 - West Ham having more finantial power to get them definetely from MSI (yeah, right).

2 - One or both players being already promised to 1 or 2 bigger clubs for next season, needing a good stage to keep the level (most probable in my op)

3 - Bigger clubs like Man Utd or Arsenal wanting to buy the players definetely and refusing partnership agreements with MSI (equally probable and complementary)

So... let me know where the news of an official majority aquisition from WH is so I can read it.
