I'm having problems with the mission "Farewell, my love". I just can't seem to win that race.

This game is way overrated IMO, the controls are pretty horrible and the framerate is a fucking joke (driving, about to go round what I thought was a corner then the game magically loads up a wall a foot in front of me).

I agree the framerate can be a bit poor at times, but ive never had a problem that bad. What really pisses me off is the controls to some of the missions. The Zero ones are a complete joke and really frustrating . .not only the RC ones but also the first one with the Mini Gun. They really take something away from it for me at times.

Never stay still. Always keep on the move. I also found the shotgun pretty handy. Just kill every Balla in front of you (and don't forget the ones behind you).

Make sure you dont go storming in there wanting to take em all out, take cover and watch your back.

I found some smoke grenades while driving around Los Santos. That helped a bit, I think. :D

i done this mission first time just get on hitman level with the uzi's and then take cover and just blast away real doddle then lol

i ran straight round and up to the top of the bridge and took everyone out from there, piece of piss!!

You don't have to complete them to advance the story.

I tried the minigun one for fuckin ages then saw on gamefaqs that you don't have to do them, I might come back later and give it a go.

Does anyone know how to dual wield weapons? I've got hitman skill in a couple but I'm not shooting with two?

All of the GTA games are overrated, but they are still fun games to play.

Whether the game is overrated or not, is obviously a matter of opinion. It's purely subjective. I've waited ages for GTA SA, and its lived up to my expectations, and then some. There's no "honeymoon period" with me.
Personally i'm taking it easy/slow with this one, because i know it's huge and i want it to last. Let me stretch out that £30 i spent (yes i paid for it). It appears as if some people are rushing through it, or just overdosing on the game.

Agreed with Nutmeg. I'm playing this game together with CosaNostra and we're playin it 2 nights a week for a few hours. We've bought that game 9 days ago I think and we've just arrived in San Fiero.

While I don't think it deserves the 99% score I see popping up every now and again, I don't think it's overrated. Not generally speaking anyway. It's got such an incredible value for money, and almost everthing about it is fun.
Granted, the framerate is disappointing and the targeting system is flawed at best, but I can't say that any of the problems get in the way of my pleasure in playing it.

I'm doing what the Prof is, taking my time with it and just soaking it all in, exploring everything and whenever I run into a difficult mission, I just do some of the mini-missions instead. Current fave being the home invasion ones - very entertaining.

I'd definitely give it an above 90% score, like 93% perhaps, because I see room for improvement, but I'm enjoying myself so much that I just cannot say I'm disappointed by it - in any way, quite honestly.

i just bought the game and currently stuck in the spraying!!!!! please help me.. i already sprayed like 15 minutes now but nothing happens

When you complete the missions in Los Santos, can you return there to take over the territories, spray the tags, go with the girlfreind etc ?

I just got a horrible bug before. I was in a mission where I had to ride a motorbike with someone and then shoot some enemies of a train down a rail way, and then everything just locked up. Has anyone else had any problems like this?? I also had a bug a couple of days ago when I failed a mission for no reason. Strange stuff.

You mean where u have to spray the tags?

Go up to the tag, press R1 to target and then circle to spray it, dont get too close tho otherwise it doesnt work!

Plus I got the Harrier jump jet...........the Greatest GTA Vehicle EVER!!:)

Yeah, also do you get your weapons back at some stage because I now have nothing, or do I have to buy or find weapons.

When we get the message new import car available were can we get them? After having 4 cars in Wang stand seems like it's full...were the other new cars go?

Saying this game is overated is not fair at all...true it has some flaws and can be improved but...compare it to other exinting games...for christ sake, GTA:SA is unbeatable!!!

Can you design your own tags? And is it as good as grafin your own tag? the game sounds overrated to me, im going to save my money and purchase the next installment in the FIFA series.
