No option "2 vs COM" in 2011?

Greetings, mates.
Sorry if there is a similar topic, I didn't found it...
I wonna play with my young nephew TOGETHER (in the same team) against the computer, in friendly OR in League/ML/Cup game.
Is it possible???

In FIFA, there is (of course!) this option. We tried today to play together (me with keyboard, him with pad) but we couldn't find any possible way to play in the same team - only against each other.

Any idea?

Of course there is, select "Select Sides".

another thing i cant understand, there are menus for a reason
and buttons colored showing what this button does
push ?
try ?
read ?
look ?

its not rocket science
but hey easier to come here and make a thread wow...

how we can await that people learn the game deeply if they cant even understand the menus
easier to abuse the game instead of learn

Okay, I think I found the "problem"... I attached the pad via USB, but I DIDN'T selected it from the Settings.exe!
Now, it seems it's working... Thxs.
