Jets were on fire yesterday, Leon Washington is the next Curtis Martin, playoff bound dude, this train is bound for glory.

Go Ravens, nice to see a Ray Lewis/Adalius Thomas size dent put in the Reggie Bush hype machine!

Big one against the Bengals this week, concerned about Palmer lighting up our secondary which has been the problem on the defensive end this year, but in D we trust!

At the halfway mark the playoff seedings would be...

AFC Conference Standings
Code:
[FONT=Courier New]1 Indianapolis    S    8-0-0
2 Denver W 6-2-0
3 Baltimore N 6-2-0
4 New England E 6-2-0
5 San Diego W 6-2-0
6 Jacksonville S 5-3-0[/FONT]

Looking at the divisional standings, the Colts obviously look locks for the South, the Ravens (we were lucky this week, the offense is still struggling) are in good shape with the tiebreaker in their pocket, and the Patriots can take a big step toward the playoffs if they can beat the Jets at home this week. The West is still wide open with the Chargers also at 6-2 and the Chiefs at 5-3 - SD @ DEN is only two weeks away, the following week the Broncos travel to Arrowhead on Thanksgiving Day.

NFC Conference Standings
Code:
1 Chicago N 7-1-0
2 N.Y. Giants E 6-2-0
3 New Orleans S 6-2-0
4 Seattle W 4-3-0
5 Atlanta S 5-3-0
6 Minnesota N 4-4-0
The NFC looks a mess at the moment, with only the Bears looking safe. The South might well be decided by the Saints' trip to Atlanta on Thanksgiving weekend but Carolina might be able to make up some ground before they face Atlanta and New Orleans in their last two games of the season. The Giants are starting to emerge in the East. The West is anyone's pick - can the Seahawks take charge next week when they host the Rams?

Superbowl picks anyone? I'll take the Colts to finally get there against the Giants.

It will be Jets v Giants going to the dance with the Jets coming out comfortable victors in the end 42-7. Chad P MVP 5TD's 0 INT's 400+ yards 114.3 QB Rating.

Hmmm this season has been a bust from start to and I presume finish for us, our latest Seattle shutout just sums us up.... watching Wrexham has not been any better, hope they don't both end up propping their respective leagues....

JETS SMACKDOWN ON THE PATS 17-14 AT FOXBORO!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!!! CHAD "THE ROCK" "COLD STEEL" "THE PUNISHER" PENNINGTON. YEAH BABY, WE HAVE ONE HAND ON THE LOMBARDI!!!!

Nice to see the defence show up in the second half, McNair just about gets it done once again - his first pick was awful but it was encouraging (and rare) to see a Ravens QB throwing 350+ yards. Atlanta should be interesting this week.

Serious worries for our next home game, how are we going to get all the Ben Roethlisberger-shape dents out of the field in time? :D We'll need more of the same on Thursday against the Bengals though, but a win there will hopefully seal the deal...

Jets showed the Texans how it's done, complete blowout. Eric "The Kingfisher" 'Easy E" Mangini calling the plays, Chad "The Gloved One" "Hothand" Pennington lobbing balls on a dime all over the Meadowlands, on to victory.

OK well the Bengals might have knocked us off but Arrowhead and LJ - no problem. Still going to be an awkward run in but hopefully we wont pass up another chance to lock up the division.

Wow, the Falcons/Giants/Cowboys/Eagles tandem looks rather interesting, should be a big weekend.

My jets had a little slip up last week but we are still one game out of 1st place! Can't believe Miami kicked the Pats ass.

The NFL is so refreshingly unpredictable compared to the premiership. A salary cap is suuccchhh a good idea. As a Cowboys fan, we've been all over the place this year, but still got some Romo-fever to keep me going! Dermot - good call about the weekend, giants could go above the 'boys in the NFC east, after being written the eagles could make a run too!

Couldn't agree more, as well as there always being so many big games towards the end of the season with the wildcard race.

Keeping everything crossed the Ravens can handle business Sunday and then Peyton Manning and co do us a favour Monday night and secure us the AFC North title.

Finally the division is ours, now lets hope we can keep the pressure on for a first round bye. :applause:

How on earth did Ray Lewis not get selected for the Pro Bowl

I would have thought leading the league's second-ranked run defense in tackles even after missing 2 games through injury would make him a shoe-in but nevermind :)

JETS JETS JETS. Unbelievable, they are going to the dance. First we maul the Raiders on Sunday then do a repeat of '02 on the Colts on the way to the Lombardi. Last year a 4-12 debacle, this year Cinderella story Superbowl favorites.

Thanks my Green Bay, won the shit Bears and now we're in Wild Card (Let's hope for the playoffs)
