Next -gen is NOT what is was cracked up to be so far.

ps2 peaked with resident evil 4...completed it today...amazing game! Its a wierd one with graphics, like some people are happier with pes6 graphics what arent truly next gen, compared to fifa 07 on 360 which is, but any things that look odd/bad look super odd/bad cos its in so much more detail!
also bear in mind, we arent used to 'next gen' graphics in games...it might take abit of getting used to, especially in sports games etc...ridiculous to say, some things looking too good, not like games anymore, so you expect everything to be that realistic, when movement or gameplay doesnt live up to that its like oh...well they couldve concentrated on something other than the graphics..this is just pretty!
 
I like the peak talk i'll add my thoughts on it.

PS2 peaked with god of war but just might be edged out with GoW2 now

The gamecube peaked with resident evil 4

the xbox peaked with Nina gaiden

All thes etitles exclusively built for each system in mind

The PS3 will probably peak with GT5

the 360 will peak with mass effect or bioshock

and the wii will peak once say the new new Zelda comes out for it
