I am thinking of getting a couple of new gamepad for my PC. I have a couple of old Logitech "Remote" Wingman gamepads (10 buttons)and was wondering if there were any 10 button pads on the go now.

I had a look at the Logitech site and could only see the ones with the usual 4 button cross config as seen in console pads, I prefer the 6 button config of 2 lines of 3 button as Im not moving my finger or button thumb up down right and left to play the game but left and right with my thumb on the middle (pass) button.

anyone know where I can get this sort of gamepad

thanks

What I do is that I buy a ps2/pc adaptor and then I use my ps2 controller when I play on my pc .It feels really great

I would get the PS2 pad convertor or if you run vista the 360 pad as for some reason the ps2 pad dosnt work in vista.

Vista is a knightmare for PS2 controllers.

I have tried 3 adapters and used the EMS vista driver and it wokrs sometimes and then for no reason at all will stop working

I got sick of this and bought a logitech £11 joypad and its no where near as good as the ps2 joypad, but works everytime and is simply plugged in and ready

I downloaded the EMS vista drivers and now the pad convertor works so it will do for pes, but for everything else I would say the 360 pad very comfortable and by far the best pad on the market at the moment, just a bit steep at £25.

I've got a ps2 copy controller which is identical except instead of triangle, square, circle and cross it has 1, 2, 3 and 4

I got two from GAME for £12/13.

PS2-PC convertor adaptor and a PS2 controller. Works fine on Vista for me. Don't even have to install any drivers either. Pretty much plug and play. I don't really like the xbox 360 controller for WE/PES, as you can't press the 2 trigger buttons at the same time. It won't regconise. Though Konami said it have fixed this problem for PES 2008.

[Edit] Just came across another thread about the Xbox360 controller. And Energia posted a quality page, http://xbcd360guide.50webs.com/download.html. Download the 3rd party driver there instead of using Microsoft's Official one. And you can configure the 2 trigger button separately.
