New Laptop

I today got a new laptop and installed Pro Evo on it. When I play it is abit jittery. On my PC it runs smoothly but the laptop its abit jittery. Would it have anything to do with the fact its Vista or the Graphics Card or neither?
 
hard to say without knowing the specs though vista could be an issue. if you haven't already, you might want to update to konami's 1.2 patch as apparently that fixes an issue with vista not recognising your graphics card's VRAM. what are the specs of your laptop and what settings are you running on?

my video memory is 256mb and it works perfectly on high settings. mind you, that is an 8800gt on xp. i suspect vista could be the culprit.
 
the best way to run game in a laptop is....

buying a laptop in the GAMERS section

i am about to buy a Toshiba Qosmio x305
Core2 Extreme
4GB RAM
GeFroce 9800 gtx 1GB
etc etc etc
and a procesor about 2.0 or 2.4


so as you see

before buying a Laptop

Or probably buy a much cheaper gamers PC with the same specs...
 
The best way for a laptop is work, no play..xD, to play buy a psp portable..or wait for future external video cards..lol !

LAPTOP VS CONSOLE

if you are at home an the electric energy is broken... you cant use a CONSOLE..... (but your laptop can be still working cause it got battery)



you dont need to use 300 DVDS
cause you can use craked no/cd games

if you move to vatations.. you must carry those 300 DVDS

in a laptop you crack the game and put the DVDs in a box an never touch again... so DVD is better conserved


if you bug a pirate game.. you dont have problems to run it

in XBOX (some times) you cant use non-original DVDs



if are traveling by bus,train,car or airplane... in a LONG TRIP

you can still use laptop while you travle... can play games or use Inet if you got wifi conection....
on a trip like this you cant even think about using a conseole during the trip

cause you nee an energy conection
need a TV



a Laptop can be used as a console.. you jut conect some USB joypads.. simil to PS3 joys ... then connect laptop to TV and DONE..... or veen use the laptop monitor

so a laptop can work as a console
but a console cant work as a laptop.....


only problem is that a laptop is expensive and console is cheap


well travleing by taxy is cheap... but not so confortable


traveling in a deluxe ship (boat) is expensive... but is something excelent

travel like a normal person

or like a rich person

or bussines class


i think a gamer laptop is better than EVERY OHTER PC OR CONSOLE

The problem is..Pes2008 doesn't support laptop video cards..lol
Computers..are always better than an "fox"console..for examle..if you don't update in some day a console you don't be able to play it xD..
Find a laptop than pes2008 run fine i think today is possible but very expensive!..for example..buying an incredible toshiba for 1500€..and you can play devil may cry 4 only on 640x480!..so you can buy external videocard like 8600gt with 500€ addtional..but is good?..i think no..
But with that toshiba photoshop is very very speed! to work..maybe in 2 years you can play on all..but no with next generation games..
Of course if i must to choose in a trip of course I prefer laptop..but it doesn't has all the power of a desktop pc..(example 80fps gaming in 1280x1024 resolution or better..)

about pes in laptop cause i am about to buy a toshiba qosmio 305

with core2 estre ec etc

it include a GeForce9800gtx 1GB DDR3

this cards iis better that my desktop video card


it sould run pes2008 in high setting as i do in my normal PC


have you listened something about it?

i mean that this laptop cant play NG games?
