Pretty much spot on.
I mean, I can feel the difference between a pair of Predator X and a pair of Adizero boots. Not really in terms of pace (as I'm still slow as f**k) but in terms of comfort, Adizero boots are on a league of their own: you don't really feel them on your feet.
But this is due to the way they're built: they're just built to be lighter than Predators, it's not like they have springs inside that give you boost (which is what adidas wants you to believe).
And I can feel the difference between a T90 training top from 2004 which was pure joy to use (but unfortunately now doesn't fit anymore, I guess I gained too much weigth lately

) and the Milan 2008/09 replica kit (which gets me soaked every single time I use it) but again it all comes down to the material/the way they are made.
I really do not believe carving laser holes in that Milan kit would save me from drowning (and I really don't believe that adding elastic bands here and there to that Nike kit would help me perform any better).
