New Kits

Arsenal kit looks nice, though I don't understand why that darker stripe is on the front. It is not really visible so it is almost like it isn't there, while if it was darker it would look odd.

Poor attempt at West Ham's logo.

And the Puma GK template is starting to grow on me. Although it's maybe just because the last two were not that great either, especially the 2014 one was terrible.

From Uhlsport to Kipsta.
Looking forward to the kits.
Kipsta used to make pretty good-looking (and, most of all, affordable) teamwear back in the day to the extent that I still have several Kipsta sets I've used over the years (I've been using them since like 2005) and I'm currently using them regularly.

I hope they release equally good-looking kits for VAFC.

And, on a different note, wasn't Lille sponsored by Kipsta some years ago too? If I recall correctly they had a couple of pretty good kits back then.

It looks good, especially as the darker stripe is not that visible. It can be seen now, but it would be difficult to spot during a match.
Not too keen on the collar (I would've preferred it being "simply" V-shaped or even totally round), but we'll have to make do.

Reportedly Nike has finally made a written offer to Germany and is ready to pay between €60 and 70 million a year to produce the Germany jerseys from 2018. Additionally, Nike proposed to put the Germany national team at the top of its priority list and make it part of its global advertising campaigns. Last but not least, Nike offered to sell the Germany shirts exclusively through the official federation store and select Nike stores, guaranteeing extra income for the DFB.

Thanks to a clause in its contract with the national team, Adidas which currently pays around €25 million a year as Germany kit supplier, has the right to match any other offer the national team receives.

Interestingly, thanks to a decision of the German antitrust court, the new Germany kit contract will be limited to a duration of up to six years and won't include any "matching offer right" clause.

DFB itself did not want to confirm or deny Nike's offer and only stated that it would be in "constructive negotiations." According to the report, the final decision will be made during the Euro in France next month. Expect an announcement on the next Germany shirt supplier shortly after.

I prefer the kit Barca had last season (not the horizontal ones this year, but the vertical ones before). This blue is too bright for my taste.

And I really hope Adidas uses the money they saved by not supporting many smaller clubs to fight that Nike offer. I do not want to see our team with Nike kits.
