Oh my god! This color is so ugly! And this design is pathetic! What were they thinking?

This is how I see it.

Well, although some Nike kit actually look nice at first (all Barca kits this year, Man City, United home...) they are actually quite bad kits. Just look at the material they are made off. Material probably is very similar to those used by Adidas, Macron, Puma etc...but Nike kits look like they are made of plastic. And when you touch them...well, I'd be lying if I told they are good.

Goofy, Problem with Nike is there is almost no design at all, or in most cases just lame, and like the guys said, that plus the fact they look cheap makes Nike releases go down the hill pretty quickly.

The Welsh kit is nice (no competition with the wonderful Umbro one they had until now ofcourse, this is rather feckin' boring) compared to the new Northern Irish one:

Why some dumbass thought lime green would look good is beyond me. It never does.

Yeah, that's why it was hilarious.

Possible Boca new away shirt, it could replace pink shirt. Just for the record it seems the pink shirt was never used in this season because supporters dislike it.

Pink Boca shirt was ridiculous (using pink for no significant reason, just because Boca's first shirt MIGHT have been red which became pink?)... This fluo one looks as awful though...

That Arsenal shirt is the most disgusting thing I've seen in a while. Please, be a fake.

Why they insist to use gold as a main color for a shirt? omg...

Nike is plastic because it IS plastic. they are made with recycled materials. (supposingly...not sure why, maybe to make up for their sweat-shops?)

Anywayz, Adidas gives many smaller teams team-wear, just like Nike. but the biggest problem is, Adidas can always resort back to the simple team-wear of three stripes and plain colour, and ppl think its retro and classy. Nike can't as it is plain with only a tick...or they try to be innovative to give different designs.

But I think we can all agree that Umbro was one that made really nice kits...if only their designers continued...

nike doesn't make different designs, their kits are boring. Seams don't change since 2010. They just took Barca 2012 and MU 2012 away kits designes and bring it to teams that dont care about unique design. but adidas also make every year one ugly kitn (for example squadra 13)

But there is difference: Adidas gives team-wear kits to smaller teams, while Nike gives team-wear kits even to bigger teams (Bilbao, Atletico, Shaktar, England, Brazil...) and some of those models are 2-3 seasons old. Even teams in Croatian 2nd division that had changed to Adidas for this season got new models (Tiro13, Squadra13 shorts, Assita13 GK kits) with only exception being Gorica who received a year old model (Estro12) which actually quite suits them because of colors in which it is available.

The Arsenal kit is fake. It was designed by lagilava from twitter. I like the idea of having a cannon watermark, but the gold is awful.

Something like this would be nice though:

Now I remember those Arsenal designs, that guys is pretty good with PS, hehe.

The gold one with blue tones instead of gold would look great.

And Adidas has team-wear too, difference is they look good already, Nike team-wear looks cheap as hell.

and Nike teamwears are the same every year, the only thing that changes is those stupid holes in the shorts and shirt sides.

This is the problem adidas-nike:

adidas: to smaller teams give'em generic templates... BUT they give'em new templates and with colours of the club (incuding stripes/hoops/diagonal line/half-half design). Doesn't matter if it's a generic template, they give'em a design similar to the club original kit (like brescia).

Nike: They have 3-4 designs: (Monk template (man united away, past season :P),gradient, australia template and inter stripes). The problem with these templates is, for example: If my team wears a Yellow/black stripes kit but "inter stripes" template don't have that combination, then my team will use another template with these colors (Morelia in México, they used in the past season a gradient red-yellow kit, because nike don't have a red/yellow diagonal template).

Otherwise, adidas can give that little personalization.

well that is the thing. Adidas also has 5-6 models which they use as base for their kit, but they then add some personality to those kits, like half-half, diagonal or striped design. It is not like "so, we have those 5 models in those colors. you have to choose one you like for your team and we will add your logo on it"

All those Adidas shirt are awesomely awesome. Absolutely love the new Germany kit. Hopefully we'll get a red or black away.
