New Kits

Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. Believe in the three stripes!

The three stripes are part of LFC history kits i admit, but the team also had great non-adidas kits..mainly umbro and reebok in past, but also this warrior brand isn´t that bad tbh (for the money they gave us). The home kits look realy good to me, and we barely play in away, not to mention third kits this season...if we played three or four games in the puprle kits this season it would be it.. away is worn only few times as well...it´s not chainged that much.. LFC play 80% of the games, if not more in the home kits.

The kits aren't that bad. I guarantee once it's worn the away will not look so bad. The home kit looks really nice, and I don't remember the rumored third.
Nike kits for Liverpool would be terrible in my opinion. They would look boring, Adidas is the best option, obviously.

Remember my words:This is Warrior's last season.They're going to cease to exist,as Li-Ning did.They just can't survive.

Do you mean Li-Nng stopped making football kits? Cause in China they are huge, In their stores you can buy literally everything - from badminton to basketball equipment.

The white shirt is the keeper. There's no hope...

you think this for football teams? i doubt that becouse warrior is mainly hockey equipment company in US and they use LFC to get to football european market..next season they expand to Spain and make kits for La Liga team Sevilla as i read somewhere..not to mention possible other teams they will create kits for.. + the deal with LFC is for 6 years and they ivested a lot of money.. they are a big company for sport equipment with hope to get to football market... i welcome any competition for main two brands...and new designs or ideas..

they exist 20 years so i doubt they will not survive becouse of LFC away and third kits ;)

Wycombe Wanderers Home Shirt made by Kukri, neaver heard of them but I quite like it.

fuck wycombe, but that kit is aite..

I like GK kit, but player home will be better with golden details instead of white.

EDIT: are GK shorts navy or it's just pics lightning?

Home kit looks ok, but the logos should all be white as the kit details.

And that GK kit should have been the Away kit, now the fans can only hope for a good surprise on the matter...

I think the 2013-14 Liverpool kits (so far just the home and home GK, correct?) are pretty good. I'd prefer if there was a fitted option (like Adidas' "TechFit" option on kits) because I think the players like it... and it might encourage me to get in better shape myself.

However, the away/alternate kits (both this season's and all the rumored kits shown so far) are horrible and I think legitimately effect courting players in the transfer market and even the play on the field. I know that when I wear my kick-ass suits for court I feel better and advocate better. And when my best wear is at the cleaners, I definitely feel a little less than my best. The away/alternate kits need to be way better next season.

Good-looking gear always help, that is a fact no matter what area you work, gives a little boost in confidence and feel. You're right on that.

But, when you say:

That's pure nonsense, it does not work the other way around.

Only mediocre players (or workers of any area) would consider this a factor, even if the smallest one.

Not come to a club like Liverpool because the shirt is bad becoming a factor in choosing the club or not? If someone really did that (and would never happen in high professional level like dealing with Liverpool) all they would be doing is telling you they know nothing about football, the work they do and are clearly stupid. And nobody at any club needs a person who would judge a club for the shirt's look as a factor for a professional decision.

Made a quick edit on how likely the new Newcastle kit will look with the new sponsor

I wasn't trying to say that a player would turn down a move to Liverpool over just a dodgy kit, but I do believe that a club's image plays a major role in player acquisition. Liverpool with it's tremendous history and resources can acquire nearly any player it wants regardless of kit, but when it comes to competing with all the other clubs with history and money (mostly money nowadays) for the elite up-and-coming talent around the world I certainly do believe that the "cool" factor comes into play more often than you might think. Part of that factor is playing attractive football, playing in front of a large crowd, and playing in a trendy city (among other things)... but from my experience with professional and college athletes in the US, I can tell you that many players pick their teams they support as kids by "cool" uniforms alone and that "coolness" sticks with them through adulthood.

So yes, it's a bit shallow to just say that a shoddy kit can break a transfer, but part of being a trendy team is getting everyone to wear your kits all over the world. I've seen top high school athletes flip a coin to pick their college of choice (kids make decisions for stupid reasons.) I've been with enough pro athletes who love it when the teams pursuing them put their name on a jersey (adults make decisions for stupid reasons.) Image can be everything.

Of course image plays a big part, no doubt about that, and I know this happens for maybe a lot of people, but does not change my point, which was made thinking about professional players. I would not call those players professionals if that's how they deal with their choices.

All the young players that make decisions considering such ridiculous things should not be let in a big club like Liverpool (for example), at least that's how I think a big club should work. To gain respect and have a solid squad you absolutely can't have that kind of person in it. How would the club trust someone that makes decision based on such things?

On the the other hand, the 'picking childhood club' is a good factor to consider imo, since if you get there you would give even more since you has an extra connection with the club.

But we all now money is who rules it all in this ugly world of ours.

money grabbers, thats the 1st time i can remember that liverpool have had a new home kit 1 season after their last one, every liverpool home kit is usually used for 2 seasons :RANT:

it´s not mandatory for people to buy them.. ;) doesn´t all the teams like United, Chelsea ae nd others have new kit sets every season like for 4 or 5 years now?

Get used to it. Warrior pay a lot and want to recover their investment the fastest way they can.

I will no be surprised if they start to make exclusive kits to european tournaments.

If those Gala set would be real it would be one of the rare occasions, where Nike manages it to deliver a set with three great looking kits.
