That's just wrong. I know that's the colours of the flag but Slovenia should always be green and white.

Slovenia only wear green/white because it was the colours of the country's most famous/popular team Olimpija Ljubljana aka the green dragons, recently the country seemingly has become more aware of the fact in recent years, especially with the most recent success of the Maribor that it has come to attention so they're hoping to got with something a little less capital based in terms of the colours.

I think it would be a shame if Slovenia does drop the green and white. Those colours made their kit fairly unique in European football and since the break up of Yugoslavia, Slovenia has massively over-achieved, qualifying for three major tournaments. The sentimental side of me says they should continue to play in green because of what they've achieved in those colours.

White, blue and red will mean their kits look the same as those of Slovakia, Czech Republic, Serbia etc.....

A happy compromise would be to merge Olimpija's green with Maribor's purple, that would certainly be unique
