i think this pic is from 1998/1999, and the first one with rivaldo is from 1999/2000.

It hasn't been photoshopped but you're right about the inverted colours.

Sometimes that's how kitmakers decide on a kit or boot, they invert some they've already done. It's been seen on plenty of Adidas Predators and the like.

To be honest, I think the Nightwing thing is a positive, he's a pretty decent character, although it could set a precedent, maybe Crystal Palace will go for a Spider-man design next year.
