Konami has outlined the next free downloadable content for PES 2012.

The download will be released for PlayStation3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC on April 27th, and enhances the game’s use of the Copa Santander Libertadores licence.

The DLC will introduce a dedicated ‘Copa Santander Libertadores 2012’ game mode, with all the 38 teams, rosters and the official ball for the 2012 competition brought fully up to date.

Similarly, selected parts of the game have been refined for a more fluid in-game experience.

Fantastic news about Libertadores 2012, hoping that they will keep also 2011 teams.

Interesting, does this sentence means we will have a new exe?

Well the info is a little sketchy , it says it's a Dlc , i would imagine a patch would need to be released for a new Exe.Guess we'll just have to wait & see.

Guys, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this but look what I found! http://dl.metaboli.com/Patchs/PES2012_Patch1.06.exe

It's the new patch, for the PC digital download version (the one I had). A couple of hours ago I decided to go to the usual place where these patches are and changed the address from 1.03 to 1.04. This showed up: http://dl.metaboli.com/Patchs/PES2012_Patch1.04.exe and the 1.06 showed up! It doesn't have any "fix list" but the exe was compiled last Monday.

No DLC has been prompted to download as of yet, that's expected anyway.

I've been playing it (yeah for the past two hours!) and this may be the "new patch placebo effect" thing but I think Konami finally finished their game! Keepers are super reactive, everything is very responsive, and above all, stats and tactics seem to be respected again, with teams no longer camping on the back and slow players being easily overtaken by fast player! I'm loving it :D

@anderson

you are saying that somehow and suddenly 1.04 patch emerged from nowhere and then right after him 1.06 patch?

how this can be? :D

No, the patch skipped 1.04 and 1.05. My guess is that they changed several things in those two patches in a short period of time, until they decided it was good to release.

There is also a new Patch for PES2012..1.06, to accomodate the new DLC. when you try to logon to online play, it will tell you your PES2012 is out of date and redirect you to the Download page for the patch.

<Patch 1.06 Details>
* Changes to the game in order to accommodate the new "Copa Santander Libertadores 2012" mode.
* Fixes to text chat. Now customers can use text chat during Master League Online competitions too.
* General improvement to the gaming experience in various modes.

Shame it doesn't state what gaming improvements have been made.

I played just one match ( because I have just one and half of my hands available right now :)) ) and I noticed some changes in long passing, sliding and seems that keeper has better reaction to the free kicks.
