Network mode working?

Went online and registered for network play.

But every time I try and go into Network mode in game, it waits a few seconds and gives me the helpful message "an error has occured"- dont get a chance to enter any details

The maual says to visit www.konami-europe.com to learn more about network play, but it looks like a sales website and I cant find any support on there.

Anyone got any ideas about this problem?
 
Thank god it isnt just me then, and everyone is having problems.

Lets release a game and not having the servers working till after release, Konami and Seabass are a bunch of useless wa***rs.
 
Ah, i registered just to say the same thing. Surely the servers should go online when the game is released?
 
I got the same problem thank god its just the servers I though me game was faulty and i was going to have to send it back

Where did you register?
 
Theres an even bigger problem than this people.


I've had the PC version since Wednesday & managed to get a couple of games in online.

The problem is that it goes by your computers specs, I got hammered twice because my opponent was running like his players were on triple speed whereas my players were stationary. As soon as he kicked off he was in my box scoring a goal! :/

PC specs are nothing to do with internet connection. You just had a bad case of Konami PES new release lag.
 
Well that makes a change cos it always seemed to favour the people with slow PCs in PES6. When they hosted the game would drag like fuck :(

You never know - Konami might be fixing this :-s
 
Ok,

I've got the same NETWORK ERROR message coming up when I go to register via NETWORK in the game on the PC. Take it this is the same problem as you guys are discussing??
 
Same problem mate. It's will come up "An error has occured" when you select network mode.

Hopefully, they will have this fixed by Monday.
 
Hi I wonder if my pc is quite good to run thisgame, after all i read what you have written about the PC specs, and if they are low will make you suffer badly.
I've Got
AMD X2 6000+ CPU ( 2 Cpu's rated at 3 ghz ).
8600 GT nVidia.
2046 DDR2 Ram
Windows Vista ( with directX 10 ).

Should be fine ,i'm running a very similar system (except i have a q6600cpu),can run it fine on high at most resolutions but playing it at 1024*768 as i have it running through my old tv.

I tell you what, this whole PES 2008 lark is really starting to p*ss me off now.

* Serious FPS issues - CLEVER
* Even less licenced teams - CLEVER
