Is the game locking your console for anyone else (PS3) when you boot up the game?

I've just tried three times and it freezes when the team logos appear on screen, for some reason the Jordan intro can still be heard in the background.
 
Ronnie2K tweeted something about a roster issue yesterday, didn't happened to me though.
Sorry I wish I knew more about it, but I didn't understood the reason of the tweet.
 
Didn't happen to me, but I played 2 days ago, not yesterday. I've been trying different sliders lately, and the set I liked the most was one which had the word "Box" in it, can't remember now exactly the name.

Though in all-star difficulty I keep having too much "cheese" by the cpu. My perfect difficulty setting would always be a mix between professional and all-star.

I got that download error again, the 2K Servers sucks bad huh, I can't often even get into their community site or use the 2KShare, see the Living Roster stuff etc...
I never tried to play online, but I bet I can't either, so why bother.

But I'll try to download and rate your roster every chance I get, I'm persistent thanks.

The AI screw big time against me. I was playing against the C's and was down by +15 when I decided to invent a crazy play called Hack-a-Rondo which is basically a Hack-a-Shaq but with Rondo. Basically I made intentional faults on Rondo forcing him to go to the Free Throw to take advantage on his inability to score. Then, in the attack I tried the 3pt madness with Melo and Chauncey. And it works!!! Unfortunately it was too little too late I fell short in the last few seconds when Amare failed an attempt at the buzzer. Damn, his clutchness costed me 2 games in the PO series. :RANT: Now, my question is: why did they insist to give the ball to Rondo when Allen was available? This time the AI screw it big big time.
 
I'm gonna start a new association...the ultimate challenge...Toronto Raptors!!

I started off with trading for Evans for Love (i love Evans, but stats-wise not that good in this game), and traded Barbosa and Bayless for Telfair and Korver (I like a 3 point specialist, and i don't really know how to use Barbosa)...

will see how this goes...

Well, so far I love Kevin Love!! dunno how long this can maintain, but so far 2-2 (playing Lakers in a tight match right now).

After all the commotion and roster changes before a game was even played, my team chemistry took a huge hit. Our first game vs Knicks was just terrible and they blew us apart. After some practices and play executions, I now love my two bigs (Love and Bargnani). Pick and Roll is just great with them as they pull the bigs out of the middle with their range, Derozan and Weems can just fly in with dunks and Korver is just a machine of the bench. Had a 14 point lead vs the Cavs and as they rallied back, maintained run and beat them in the second game...

Then came my western road-trip, first game was vs Tyreke Evans and the Kings, a very close game throughout, but 10 points off the bench from Korver helped me take the game.

Next up was a tough tough match against the Jazz...Its always tough to play at Salt Lake City, started out great had up to a 5 point lead and kept the game in play. In the second half, the Jazz started playing tighter d and I could not buy a bucket at all in the final 2 minutes. They played well and my big 2 came up with 3 blocks each to help defend the game and take it to Overtime!! Then we collapsed and lost by 5...tough tough lost...

Now we're at Staples Center challenging Kobe, 3rd quarter we're only down by 5...I count that as a success...

*for those wondering, i'm playing 5 minute quarters at superstar (default sliders)...didn't want to take it to hall of fame as it'd be way too tough...

YLOD means "Yellow Light of Death" for PS3. I've already had 2 this year... Sony hardware quality is going down quickly... So I'm sorry you didn't get the joke.

haha, I've never had it before!! so it never clicked with me...*touchwood that i won't*

But being an actual Raptors fan, its already frustrating watching them, so maybe this will help lessen the pain since i am doing things to change it...
 
Thanks for trying my roster guys. I like switching things up now and again and playing with some classic guys. Don't like the way CAP look so I didn't include any.
 
If anyone else in My Player is playing as a PG and wondering why they can't see the plays that they are calling its because you haven't earned the trust of your coach and team mates.

I'm ten games into my second season and I've just been given control of the plays we run. Management are going to consult with me about potential trade targets.

I also made the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Of of all those who have it and play regularly on the PS3, would you be interested in getting an Evo-Web team together?

I've been speaking to tobi who would kindly create a team if we can get enough people interested. I for one would be able to play regularly - definitely at weekends and a few nights in the week.

I made the Crew but no one joined :( and to be honest I never played online, I always have trouble with 2K Share (@Review: could not even try your file yet) and other of their online service so I never bothered, specially with someone I don't know.

But I could totally try with you guys, I'm on another timezone too, but its -4 hours only so I think its possible.

Are you considering a crew or just regular teams? I think a crew would be a problem since we will have lots of PGs, I'm a 99 overrall a commander in cheese!
:LOL: Just kidding about the cheese, I'm a 99 more because of play time than skill.
 
I'm 76 overall but I can slot in at SG.

Crews or regular games is fine with me. I tried to make a team earlier but surprise, surprise the 2K servers were down.
 
I would love to join you guys but my ps3 crashed and I'm waiting for a replacement, 1-2 weeks minimum. My 3rd PS3 in a year, great hardware...
 
Sorry for the delay guys, my copy of NBA 2K11 on the PS3 still hasn't arrived so I'm confined to the 360 for the time being (which is not online).

Not using Play.com again any time soon.

I've deleted the NBA Today and Living Rosters files but its started happening again. :RANT:
