I am do not know exactly is NBA 2K 2010 also good or not, but having a new CD license for collection purposes.

Are there any roster mods for this? I simply can’t play this era of the Bulls. Like Jordan on the Wizards, I will deny that these teams ever existed.

Depend on platform, on pc im sure you can do proper rosters, although it should be tons of historic rosters on console as well, haven't thought about it.
I'll get back to you when I play 2k17 later today.
You should be able to do season/myleague mode with historic teams

Edit: you have all the historic rosters if you want to play a myleague or just exhibition games.
Like the bulls 95/96 96/97 rosters and tons of others.
I always return to NBA 2k17-16 and gets blown away how good they are

Sliders makes a huge difference, vanilla game is fine but the game really shines when you set it up properly with sliders and also a bit more realistic settings, like trades/how players regress/progress.
That's if you're in to a long career.
Also I only play with a player lock, controlling one player only which means I can play 4x12 qtrs (having my player playing whatever minutes I want, when not playing it's simmed)

Look around YouTube, I use Shady Mike's realistic sliders and settings can be found on operation sports for instance.
 
Hi, I enjoy new NBA 2ks from time to time. I am not huge basketball expert. As I was going trough thread I assume that the NBA 2k14 is the goat.

Is there any place where to get NBA 2k14 for reasonable price or it's the same as with old PES games? I only found some shady websites offering NBA 2k14.

In the meantime I'm downloading ultimate base roster mod.

Its a great game though I hold 16-17 over it every day .
But pretty much every game between 10-19 except awful 18 is great

And it's fluidity is amazing, it's up there as my favourite game for sure, has all the mechanics I need when playing my career, advanced rotations/player lock etc a good training system etc.
I often go between that and 16;, and some 14 which (on console) looks the best of all 2ks

Like the old FIFA and PES games, you can no longer purchase these unless you can find a physical disc, like for consoles. On PC, 2k14 and others are easily attainable as “abandonware,” depending on your legal views of that subject.

Thats brilliant, though i acctusly bought bought a Xbox 360 just to play 9-10-11-12-13 again.
One thing with old 2k is that button Mapping is a bit tricky for older titles, 2k10 was a Nightmare and 2k9 much easier (go figure)
But these games are brilliant, though i preferred the Xbox One/på 4 gen (14-15-16-17-19)
 
NBA 2k13s my career was my first NBA 2k experience, still really good though I prefer 2k 16-19 it's still one hell of a game

Does anyone have an experience of modding nba 2k14 on pc?

I had a nightmare trying to apply the 92/93 mod. I inserted all the files correctly but i couldn't get the roster to load, no matter what i did i kept getting the message that the roster file was corrupted

I'm going to try the ultimate base roster mod tomorrow but i fear i'll just hit the same problem
 
Been bitten by the retro bug on 2k games, already have a lot but ordered my third copy for 2k16 (my firsdt is unplayable) and now i have a back up, then 2k7 and 9.
Only games missing in my collection is 2k8 and 10
Such great games

Very cool, when you are getting pleasure from game itself and how it was made, but not only from "this is latest iteration of famous game and it's meaning, that it's coolest from all parts".
Certainly, we are (previous generations) know already long time ago - that newest games not the best ones, but mostly more worst from whole gaming perspective and game design solutions.

I stopped buying newer games with 2k22, its been less good since then, but the old Games are so good still

I can add also, that except good gameplay many old games do not need very powerful and high cost PC.
And with possibilities of modern modding can give also many pleasure.

I just installed 2k13 and 14 on PC, obviously the PC version is sharper than the 360 version, plus mods etc.
But I can't stop playing my 2k13 Association with The Hawks on my 360.
Also my very first 2k game, so lots of memories.
Having a mycareer on 14, a MyLeague on 16 and a association on 13 really keeps me busy.
(Plus my 2k7+9 drops in tomorrow)
