Sony will never end up giving the same amount away for free that MS make people pay for. They've already announced micro-transactions for GT4 and you can bet the ret of it won't be far behind.

Indeed...I will have a lot of respect for Sony if they can pull off a worthwhile competitor to XBox Live. But if you ask me...with debts already rising due to hardware costs of the PS3 combined with them not willing to charge for the inevitable expensive infrastructure needed, it will be very very difficult.
 
Ha ha just got in and my 360 is still here so i phoned xbox and spoke to my new friend Alvin who is not allowed to tell me where he is for security reasons. I asked why my 360 was still here he told me it had been picked up at 10.30 this morning and was i sure it's still there? Told him i'm really pissed of now and he promised me i would get a new 360 and not a refurb. Shortly after the phone call Alvin fell from the office window and died.
 
Oh dear God my week gets worse and worse i got a note saying i had a parcel at the post office to pick up i think oh yeah its PES6, i get there and its fucking shitty letter about nothing but shit and it took me a fucking hour to get there and back. And my fucking xbox is still here noone has picked it up again.
 
was excited about my xbox for a good while now i am not.

fifa 07 takes too much of alearning curve to enjoy but i am willing to tough that game out
nba live 07 ended up being decenet at best
madden 07 horrible went out and just bought the xbox version miles better
ncaa 07 was good until the novelty wore off good stadiums though
test drive lost interest once I saw all the cars and drove the whole island
saints row ahh siants row can't wait for vice city stories lets put it that way
nhl 2k7 good but agian i'm only a mild hockey fan and though it was good well after a while ice looks like ice



NBA 2k7 and dead rising I am still enjoying more than any other last gen console game \

except for fifa 07 and madden 07 which in my opinion are just genius
 
depends what you're into really, all the above mentioned games are sports or similar apart from saints row, which I stayed away from as its an obvious poor mans GTA. Games like Gears of war, mass effect, call of duty 3, Dead rising, alan wake, splinter cell, rainbow 6,assasains creed, halo 3, the list goes on for me of games that will make and do make the 360 worth playing above any other console.
 
If anyone gets some 48h Gold subs from PES6 etc then feel free to PM them to me, I don't have a gold sub.

We do get Premium + Extra Wireless Pad + PGR3 for £299 though :)
 
Swedish magazine level has had the chance to play halo 3 in multiplayer and there are 3 levels which is revealed,
Valhalla = blood gulch, High Ground = Zanzibar, Snowbound = Frost bite.

New vehicle - Mongoose, mostly for transport 2 persons.

new weapon- spartan laser, hard to use but extremely powerful vehicle destroyer apparentley

- nail grenade, sticks on walls and emits nails into the air.

new weapon - spiker (brute weapon),

your secondary weapon is visible at all times at your back.

New transportation system in multiplayer- man cannon, launches you into the air through air streams, you can still be fired at and you can fire back.

The X-button will have a special use which Bungie will not reveal.

The "legendary edition" is sort of a "special-special-edition" that consists of a Full-size replica of the Master Chiefs helmet that contains 4 DVDs with material.
1= The Game
2=Various documentaries and audio commentary
3=Spinoffs such as "Red vs Blue" and "Spark of Life"
4= ALL the cutscenes from all three games in Hi-def

Wow, a HD version of a game I've already played, and an FPS as well (there's not many of them around), that's worth £50.

(I never really understood why anybody liked Halo :eh:)

Just like Fifa 2007 then? Come on Jack, that was a pretty generic kinda statement.
 
FIFA 07 was two years of development, it was built from scratch and you can tell when you give it a good go. If you don't like it fair enough but I don't think it's fair in the LEAST to say it's a HD version of any previous FIFA. It's entirely different, or else I wouldn't have given it five minutes (WC2006 lasted me a few hours).

Admittedly sequels are all about making the game better and not being revolutionary. I'm not saying it looks awful, no need to be so defensive; I'm just saying it really doesn't interest me at all. It's like WWII FPS's, I don't get how people are still excited by it. I finished the original Halo, I thought it was alright, Halo 2 looked polished but I just couldn't get into the feel of it, and I can't see myself buying a 3 or a 4 or a 5... As far as I'm concerned Battlefield is the height of FPS's and I wouldn't buy any others (apart from Tom Clancy's for single-player), just in the same way that I'm not going to keep both PES and FIFA, and I'm not going to have more than one football management game.

Just my opinion though, no need for the hostility.
 
Don't really like Halo it's GOW i want but after my third phone call to microsoft support my 360 is still here. I know its gonna be away for the 17th.
 
They can't fix it Jay, it's totally fucked; it'll be away until 2017, never mind the 17th, It needs ALIEN TECHNOLOGY to fix it. ;)
 
If he would stop trying to use it for making toast it would alright.
 
A friend of mine has decided he wants a 360 cause he doesn't want a Wii (they're shit) or a PS3 (wants next-gen now). But he doesn't know any of the games.

I've suggested he should get PGR3 (cause thats one game even I would buy)

so 360 owners and fans, suggest other great games to buy
