Microsoft Xbox 360

Every time i get a new game i have trouble just got splinter cell.On single player keeps trying to load then i get the clean disk message, multiplayer works fine.If i clean this disk anymore i'll have to use sandpaper.
 
lol thats a shame jaygrim. touch wood im not having any more issues with my 360 since the PGR3 problems but then again I havent played that in ages!

The UK should have it sometime today too I think.

EDIT:
Now out in the UK. Go to Game Downloads then Browse by Genre, then Action or Sports.

For fuck sake has anyone tried phoning xbox support jesus christ, not only do i get a woman but she cant speak fucking english i was talking to her for a fucking hour(or trying to). Anyway 306 number three is on its way, i better be here before PES/FIFA.
 
306 number three? Is that a 360 prototype or the new XBOX? Bit of a Japaneezy name going on there...

Good idea but my bro got it for me and hes away for two weeks, and this is a refurb so i dont think they would take it back anyway. It's getting picked up now anyway or at least i think it is, with that woman i spoke to i could of just ordered a pizza.
 
Did anyone of you 360 owners experience any problems such as game freezes, or any unusual behavior. I'm currently playing NBA 2K7 and the game already froze a few times. Another thing is, today I was playing and all of a sudden no commentary ?? and then at the half time everything seemed normal but I could not continue to play 3rd quarter. I had to reboot the console and after I did that it tells me the disc cannot be read, use some soft cloth to wipe down the disc. After I did this it seemed fine. My 360 is about 2 wks old.. premium bundle.. I don't overplay it. less then an hour a day.. and this shit already hapening ?

Does anybody know if there's anything similar available for the PC? I wouldn't mind playing Battlefield with one of these babies...

Edit: I've just been reading that if you get a bluetooth dongle for your PC you can use mobile phone headsets on it... I had no idea. I wonder if that would work with this? Would save me having to buy two different ones then!

Rainbow Six Vegas demo today chaps on 360 it was announced ages ago due for release today on marketplace.

If you bought OXM mag the demo on that. :)

My subscription is due up for renewal at the start of Nov. I see that you can buy the xbox camera and get a subscription thrown in free. Does anyone know if I get the code from a 12 month subscription and enter it in for renewal, does this prevent mickysoft from taking the full £40 off the debit card details they hold for me when renewal time comes.
 
It does yes, it basically adds 12 months to the end of your current subscription, I'm paid up till July 08 I think.............. various picking up cheap codes in the past, lol, think the most I have ever paid for a full year of Live is about 20 quid.....
 
Cheers. Just got one from E-bay there for £22 sorted up til end of Nov 07.Sweet! Wait t'ya see though, next year they'll start doing live for free or something to combat PS3's free service.

If they did it for free id be chuffed but I highly doubt they will do.

well, you never know. Maybe not seeing as they already make a mint from it, but as time goes on and ps3 users grow they might need to re-evaluate if people see they can get the same thing elsewhere for free from an established brand.
