I didnt ban you for one week, but I will have no hestitation in getting you banned again TG, once again you bounce into this topic like the doom-monger you are.

Can you need heed the fact that alot of people are actually enjoying the console? Can you not take in the fact there is a 3rd choice out there? Do you use only Apple products or run linux systems or use netscape cause you hate MS soooooo much? Having competition breeds better games you onion.

The XB360 has sold out in all areas bar Japan, I've not seen more XB players on this website than we have now, people who hadnt played the old XB before, or had and got rid have gone and gotten a XB360 and guess what, all bar Adonis have been impressed, maybe it's time you smelt the coffee woke up out of your Sony induced dream and tried something different.

Here's IGN's report of MS's speech. As Classic said, no info on playing games but rather as it appears just for watching movies, therefore not essential piece of kit

i can't see why they even made that fucked up core version, nobody wants it and nobody needs it!you will buy a hdd for it anyway, so what's the sense, damnit?

i preordered at local ebgames today, payed them a bit allready so i might get one from there next delivery (might be any day as they said).

also played some PGR 3 again, man what a great game.i love it just like i loved MSR on Dreamcast, back then those were the days...:applause:

OPM.... for people who cant afford to spend nearly £300 plus for a console the Core version is a very good solution to that problem mate.

Yeah, plus alot of people who were desperate for a console (such as myself) resorted to buying a Core due to the lack of Premium's, thus spending alot more and making ol' Bill even happier ;)

im getting the ethenrnet card next week hopefully the store thats like 5 mins from my house said they will have some next week for 5 quid so not bad so ill be on live soon lol,that fight night 3 looks good i love boxing can anyone tell me how they think of it

In fact, they've gone on to state that it'll only be used to watch movies:

Moore says "the new drive will offer millions of Xbox 360 owners the ability to easily enjoy HD DVD movies and will provide consumers with even more choices for experiencing high-definition content, in either physical or digital form." But they've been so tricksy on this one, it's hard to pin the drive to straight movie playback at this time.

Just read that Street Fighter 2 will be on Arcade in the near future...

If it can be played online it will be great, old school fighting... :)

well it seems that Sony wont be releasing the PS3 anytime soon, so keeping to my word Im gonna grab myself another 360...when the next wave of games come out ;) Saying that, Kameo is just an amazing experience. Been playing it loads and am very impressed.

Top Spin 2 is top of my list, although the varied dates on the game are random to say the least! We still have Jan 27th on our books but everywhere else is saying the date has slipped.

btw Ive finally managed to play PES5 on the 360 with higher res on a hdtv. Awesome :) even better with the joytech pad as the d-pad is like the ps2 pad. I guess thats my only fault with the official 360 pad, the dpad is very unaccurate. Apart from that it easily rivals the dual shock 2 as the most comfortable pad every created.

and regarding ThomasGoal...Now I gotta say I love that guy for all the hard work he puts in to find info on WE games pre-release, but the 360 bashing is uncalled for.

It really would be a priceless moment if Seabass said

'We announce due to a far superior online experience and loads of money from my main man Bill Gates, PES/WE games will now be an Xbox 360 exclusive.'

Would love to see the look on Thomas's face ;)

I'm loving my 360 even though my most played game is PES5(xbox) and WE9JL(ps2) is better!
I also think Kameo is massively underrated re. reviews and its more fun than 'Beyond Good and Evil' which had great reviews.

Not impressed with the xbox360's-
1) crashes-usually on bootup
2)Dvd playback-rented a film the other day and had to play it off my standalone DVD player since my 360 had troubles even though it was unscratched.
I hope these can be patched or maybe Microsoft will replace my machine one day if I think these things become a real issue.
The thing about MS is they usually replace(not repair) your goods very quickly.

Ive faced the weird problem mentioned before, when you get the 4 red lights and a message saying there is a problem. Fixed by rebooting though.

Ive faced crashes in the middle of games twice overall.

Ive had the 1 Red Light Issue appear 3 times in the last 5 days now! and just like Milanista all I do is reboot and it works... why is this happening more frequently now? Once its booted up the machine works perfectly. Ive read on MS's website that this light and error message combination suggest a hardware failure! I bloody hope not ive only had the console 2 weeks!

@the other guy who asked about HDD's: I got lucky and found some stock on Amazon USA and I have paid about the normal RRP including delivery from the USA to get my HDD and because there are no regional restrictions on Hard Drives I should have no problems.

GTA: LCS Drives to other Consoles, makes Return Trip to PSP

As we reported yesterday, Take-Two Interactive have been crunching their numbers as the end of the financial quarter has drawn near. Things weren't looking so good for Take-Two then, but they're looking a bit better today as they announced their plans for the upcoming fiscal year.

The first big news is that they plan on porting a well known PSP title a "current generation console." Hmmmmm.... could they be talking about Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories? For answers, I turn to my Magic 8-ball which says "Without a doubt". At this moment, it's unclear what console will be getting this GTA port although the most logical choice would definitely be the PS2... but I'm sure there's alot of Xbox fans that would love to see GTA:LCS land on their favorite system. Could it be possible that the Xbox 360 is considered "current generation"? The 8-ball says "Don't count on it" on that one.

Additionally, Take-Two announced that plans are still on track for a second GTA title on the PSP this year, described as a ""all-new property." All I can say is enough with the vague hints. Details are still unclear whether or not the next PSP version of Grand Theft Auto will revole around a whole new city, incorporate a familiar destination into a new story, or be a whole new take on the GTA franchise..

8-ball says: "Ask again later". I don't know why I bother with that thing.

[Update: Take-Two has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories will be coming to the PS2 in a post-earnings conferrence call, according to Gamespot. At least the 8-ball is good for something.]

well people has been saying that GTA will be coming to xbox 360 when the ps3 is realeased,so it will be like halo 3 but maybe if both come out same time when ps3 comes xbox will be doing well hope this would be true though

check game this weekend they have new delivery of stuff including HDD thats what the person in game said to me or go to ebay

i could get one premium for 445€, ready for pickup here...but thats nearly 50€ more than...argh.

50 euros is like 35 quid i think,so if you want it buy it,dont know in germ,any if they are having new deliverys soon ask your nearist shop first

Why so much? In Italy and France the retail price is €399 for a premium.
