Admittedly I wouldn't pay full-price for it, never in a million years. But when it's £20 or less I'll go for it in a second.
 
For me its an Arcade download at best, there is no way they could justify charging anyone £40+ for it
 
Always liked the Katamari games - but this one is exactly the same as the others!

(I know, the game mechanic dictates that fact) But all this version is, is Beautiful Katamari with slightly better (though not great) HD Visuals.

Wonder what the online will feature?
 
Argos are selling Forza Motorsport 2 for just £9.99. Bought mine on Thursday. Info on the Argos website.

You can easily make a 100% profit if you sell it on eBay.
 
Electronic Arts has confirmed that shooter Mercenaries 2: World in Flames has been delayed.

The game is currently in development for PC, PS2, PS3 and Xbox 360. Recent rumours had it down for a February release, but EA told Eurogamer there would be no sign of it "within the next few months".

Now big boss John Riccitiello has confirmed the delay, stating Mercs 2 will be out in fiscal year 2009 - in other words, some time after 1st April. PS3 and Xbox 360 title Battlefield: Bad Company will also be late.

"We have made the decision to move Battlefield: Bad Company and Mercenaries 2 into fiscal 2009," Riccitiello said. "Both titles are looking great and we believe with additional polish we will build a better consumer experience and thereby maximise our economics."

Errr Gametrailers.com has about 20 trailers covering the past few months, with a number from this week including a video review, unless you deliberately avoid gaming sites how can you have not seen any coverage of Turok? ;)
 
Turok is crap anyway, played the demo and couldnt even be bothered to finish the level.

Shame battlefield has been delayed, that looked quite good with the destruction of the surroundings. Wasnt that bothered about mercs.

So what games are people looking forward to the coming months. Can only name GTA4 as one atm, with Alan wake likely to be delayed.....and no date having been confirmed.
 
Only thing that grabs my interest in the immediate future is 'The Club' out next week.

Then its GTA4 - possibly UT3, but never been a big fan of UT and from what I've seen, this one wont change my mind...

Bit of a lean time for games at the moment, but thats good as COD4, FIFA, Mass Effect, Orange Box are all still in my rotation and I'm getting a feel for the PS3 again with Motorstorm, Minna Golf, F1 etc!

I bought 2000 MS points to get Rez, and also heard a lot about Ikaruga. I looked on Youtube for Ikaruga and I hate those kinda games, that's what I get for just going off work instead of looking into a game :lol:

So now I've got 1200 points but no games stand out as something I'd like to play. Can anyone recommend any good arcade 2-player games? Preferably co-op games?

Just had a quick look around Gameplay and updated my sig. All those games, over just two months. You can wait until GTA but I'm quite happy whizzing around on Burnout Paradise and picking up whatever I can afford on that list in the meantime. :mryellow:

@ Jack, surely Alan Wake wont be out next month, or the month after. They havent even stated a release date and there is hardly any news on the game. Would be great if it is as thats one of the main games Im looking forward to this year.

The rest of your list doesnt interest me either, sadly. Tried rainbow6 demo the other week as its so cheap now but the tempo was just too slow for me. Also got sick of having to keep going from nightvision to heatvision while not being able to see anything with normalvision.

With GoW2 rumours starting hopefully the original one wll go "classic" as full price for a game from 2006 is a bit much imo.

Ha! RockBand still isnt dated - apart from the update the other day of "Q1 2009"... which we think roughly translates to somewhere between April 2008 and July 2008!

I doubt it will be April either as they are pushing the single instruments in the US around that time.

Burnout Paradise is dead boring IMO :(

Army of Two is suposedly cack and the rest of those just dont stand out to me at all! Bully is 'ok' but played that on PS2... only one I would be interested in is R6:V2... gives me time to recoup all the money I've outlayed on games in the last 6 months though!
 
Rock Band, Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 and GTA IV are what I want most. I still have Vegas and Crackdown to play, and I'm loving Guitarhero 2 and 3 still!

Bully is 'ok'... obviously like GTA, but set in a school. Typical GTA type gameplay - missions consist of 'go here, do this' and I found it all a bit of a drag to be honest.

Sounds a bit harsh as the game is technically quite good, but the lack of weapons, killing etc made it feel a bit like "GTA-Lite"...

I'm actually selling my PS2 version at the moment if anyone wants it! (and after such a glowing review!) - its works on PS3.
 
If anyone has any 48 XBox Live Codes, I would love to have some :)
