Well, Fnac phoned me saying my Premium pack is ready for pickup!

A friend of mine said that the basic cables are shitty for standard tv, does anyone know what cables i should get for a standard tv for the best quality?

Buying a product then marking it up with no cost to you, isn't fair. It's no different then ticket scalping or selling WE games downloaded off the internet, its illegal and wrong. The profit your making is dirty money only earnend by ripping off microsoft and any retailer that sells it. People who do this should be thrown in jail. Want to stick it to ticket touts, people who buy up the consoles, and people who downland games and sell them, THROW THEM IN JAIL. Get off your horse dude, you havent a fucking clue what your talking about, re-take your economics class and study next time, dont take out the quasi republican ideas you found there and bring them out to your liking, it doesn;t work like that...

huh, not following at all.... VGA input wont make your TV broadcast in HD...

you should buy the advanced av pack - which is an rgb scart lead.

the cables included in the Premium are HD and composite

i have them and use the composite as i don't have a hd tele yet. I find the composite quality very good.

RGB scart will be better but seeing them go for £55 on ebay, they ain't worth that much

the advanced av pack is the rgb scart lead.

it is much better than the crappy composite lead.

It's a bit late to ask, I know, but what happened with the PSP for me is now happening with this (i.e. don't want one, not interested, watch the thread on Evo-Web for a few weeks and end up trading my granny for one).

Is there any way at all that I could get a 360 by Christmas day (without having to pay over the RRP price, stuff your eBayers)?

If not, fair enough, just laugh and move on to the next part of your day :(

I have heard the likes of some Currys and other electrical stores will be getting more in, and you cant pre-order them, call your local Comet, Currys etc, and ask when they might get more in.

on my basic widescreen tv the rgb scart lead made a massive difference, well worth £20 in my opinion

Just i says to ClassicD, The guy don't play in Rugby with the console, just move the Xbox 360 in tower to desktop and the PS2 does not do that (i don't know about the other consoles, because i can't try).

Just got mine, and must say am very impressed with the graphics on a STANDARD TV WITHOUT ADVANCED RGB. Ive got PGR and PD.

ThomasGOAL claimed that the PS2 doesnt scratch discs as what had happened to that disc in the XBOX 360, however, if he can remember back to the launch of the PS2 in Japan, a few machines did actually scratch discs, it also happened some of the Xbox launch machines too. Really it was a bobbins comment that didnt enhance or add to the thread in any way whatsoever. Fair enough Thomas?

hmmm....to be fair, it is a bit of a downfall how severely the XBox 360 scratches the disc. I wouldn't say the guy moved the console so vigourously to warrant the scratches as it is tilting the console is a normal thing to do.

However in saying that, I haven't tried to tilt my PS2 while the disc was in (I wouldn't want to try tbh) but I reckon with any electronic product with a disc tray reader, it is a risk to move it about.

I'm surprised the 360 didn't have a slot load mechanism...

I think that looks shite.... looks cheap,tacky and very plastic..

By the way is black the new silver, i mean not long ago all TV's/VCR's were black then it was cool when they all changed to silver and now there are lots of two tone silver/black LCD's appearing that look rather cool. Are we slowly returning to all black, i hope not.

Although I agree with what you say, surely you can't say its immoral / wrong to put a 360 on eBay on say, a 3 day auction starting at 99p? If it sells for over its face value (which of course it will at the present time) then you can you still say the sellers profit is 'dirty money'?

The seller is taking a risk by putting it on an auction, and may not make any profit. If people are willing to pay over the odds for something and the seller has no control over this, would you say he is still doing a bad thing?

Not trying to pick a fight or anything mate, I respect the posts you make on EW

No need for your "all caps," csaunders, and calling for everyone who uses ebay - or god forbid, scalps tickets - to be thrown in jail. You friggin' serious woman?

(Seems like she holds some kind of grudge because she got owned in some ancient thread - get on with your life already. It's laughable!)

People have a right to sell 360s on ebay for whatever price they wish. You, as a consumer, have the right to pay the price or not.
