I have only played it for an hour on Saturday and earlier today at my brother's - it's great fun. Don't get me wrong, it isn't mind blowingly amazing but good for a laugh.

Take a look at how many posts I've made in the last five minutes, this is the first time I've logged on all day. I've been miles away fixing up a PC for nearly TWELVE HOURS and I haven't even finished yet.

But when I do have time to play games the only two that are making it into the console are FIFA and Burnout, FIFA for long-term fun (league) and Burnout for short blasts of "FUCK YOU SUNDAY DRIVER WOMEN". :thumbup:
 
lol :) I say Fuck you to sunday drivers on the real road mate :) It will be even easier when I get the Civic Type R ive got my eyes on!

FIFA is great sometimes but online its flaws are highlighted big time. I still love the 360 for many other games.
 
I only have two problems with FIFA, and that's the reaction times and the goalkeepers. You get used to the former, and sometimes the latter totally ruins a game for you, but every time I try the demo of PES as a "punishment" to FIFA I remember how lucky we are to have something to play this year.
 
I enjoyed Black for about an hour or two, then it just became a bit generic. Saying that, I still had the urge to push on and complete it because I did enjoy it quite a bit (unfortunately I got stuck at one particular point and couldn't work out where I was supposed to go from there on). And I thought it was miles better than Halo :)
 
Nope. I thought it looked okay but I think it had poor reviews? I might rent that one. Any good DJ?
 
Agree, the basic mechanics and graphics are fine. I just miss a story.......Thats why I liked bioshock and HL so much, it was the story that got me interested in the game. The last couple of shooters Ive tried have been so boring as there doesnt seem to be a story. Fall of liberty could have had one, but even then shooting germans does get boring after a while. Didnt help that nearly everthing else in that game was crap.
 
I recently gave my nephew my old Xbox and he's struggling with the pad, does anyone know of a pad that is for the Xbox but is shaped like the Sony pad??

Any help appreciated.

How about the 'S' pad - was the same, but a lot smaller. Made primarily for the Asian market as they have smaller hands (apparantly!).

If you gave him a 360, then you can get a 'Joystick' controller. Has a large stick instead of the left analogue and all the other buttons etc. Might be something to look into?
