also, i bought my brother a brand new premium last christmas from play.com - do you think it's possible i could send this one back in replace of the one i bought him?

i wonder what the score is with regards to serials...
 
I sold my 360 to the guys at GAME for 140 and then bought a newer machine off Shopto for 195. I wasnt sending another machine back to them fuckers at MS
 
Glad I didn't wait for an Elite, GAME have them back in stock but they will not let you buy one without Forza 2. So if you already have the game, fuck you, basically.

I was ringing this morning purely out of interest and the guy told me "well you could always trade in Forza 2 off a game that you don't have, you'd get £20 off"... Hurray for throwing £20 away! Tossers.

Yep Game do indeed suck!

Elites are hard to come by except online with crap bundles.
 
You fall over them in stores here, big stacks of them in every shop, I should take some pics to piss you all off ;)

But it seems Singapore like the rest of Asia is Sony fanboy land, I got an infraction on a Singaporean gaming forum because my comments about PES got them all heated :( I'm the resident anti-fanboy troll, they know I'm English (or Ang Mo as they say here) and I was told to go back to where I came from :(
 
Yeah I pointed out that if I'd said something like that to someone from here they'd be calling the fucking police on me, but I got an infraction cos I pointed out how tall I was & how much I weighed (some fanboy said that if PES fanboys see me in the street they might bash me or some such shit) so I explained I wasn't some kid hiding behind a persona, and the moderator said I was threatening violence or some such bollocks ;)
 
guys, i had a quick search through the forums and i'm sure it's been mentioned before, but i can't be bothered searching any longer.

i'm after an adapter that allows me to use a ps2 controller in an xbox 360. i have seen the XFPS 360 Pro, but it has got pretty crappy reivews and it's around £50. i'll only be using it for pro evo, cos i'm fecked off with the 360 controller - i like to use the d-pad for pro evo and the way my hand naturally rests on the 360 conroller, it's like the directions are out by 45degrees. rather than my thumb rest on the up button, it rests on the North/North East direction and it's pissing me off when trying to control the ball, especially close to the touchline.

is there such a device worthy of buying?

The "wings" of the controller arent as wide as the MS one so your hand/thumb doesnt have to make the same 45d angle. Its not as upright as the DSpad from sony but its an intermediate. I found it very good for pes360, shame the game was so crap. The rest of the pad isnt as good as the ms one though, so it really is just for the dpad.
 
Might grab that tonight. I really enjoyed GHII but didn't particularly enjoying one song before it screws your vision up :(
 
Played NFS. Wasnt too impressed. The balance in driving seems off to me, like the front is "stuck" and the back just pivots around it. The damage is really good though and the graphics look nice aswell from what i saw. Played pgr4, demo, right after and it felt so much better to control and the cars had more weight to them.
 
i found the handling a little strange, especially on the second track when kinda drifting round corners, its hard to tell what is actually happening

but as you say the damage, crashes and graphics are very nice
 
Yep, handling is poo, but the graphics are gorgeous. Shows just what can be done, the graphics in Forza are literally laughable compared to NFSPS and PGR4.
