We're half way through our server upgrades. Next will be upgrading to the latest version of the forum software (XenForo) but I'll be doing some testing first. In the meantime please let me know if anything seems to not be working following today's upgrades (mostly behind the scenes but there was a minor forum update too). Thanks xo.
 
Push notifications have been temporarily disabled as they were causing issues with timeouts. We'll look at restoring them once the rest of our pending updates/upgrades have been completed over the coming days.
 
We've completed quite a major upgrade and it's a completely new visual style so some things might be a little wonky. Please let me know!

Things I know about:

Avatars not being hidden despite option being set
Report/Edit options being back to the XenForo default (waiting for a new update from XenForo for this to fix a dependent bug)
Sometimes the server is slow or timing out etc. - ongoing investigation into this one. Tried quite a few things so far.
 
Not sure if its an issue but the colors of the buttons when you're hovered it just doesnt seems right, like it doesnt indicates you that you're hovering that button (i notice it in light and dark theme), but might be that i was really used to the previous version!
 
The new dark mode is really poor and I'm struggling to differentiate threads with new posts or not :(

Edit: Sorry to be a negative nelly, I know how hard it is keeping this site up and running and healthy after being around for so long!

I switched back for same reason, even with My Xray specs I soon tired of it.

I've made a few little tweaks and added a 'NEW' button for unread threads as well that should benefit both styles. Is it better?

Also it seems like there isn't a "recently seen at" option from profiles anymore. Was it planned this way? Because I found it useful on older threads to see if the OPs are still online.
 
Nope. Icons are fine here both with the light and the dark skin (Firefox 138 here):

This being said... Thank you @Mart and everybody involved. It's great to see this place being still loved after so many years (they're almost 25, aren't they?)

While we managed to keep most of the band together (quite a miraculously achievement given it's been 20+ years tbh), I really do wonder what happened to some of them who went *poof* along the way. Sweet old memories nonetheless 💙
 
very difficult in some hours to update my post with new link and image... all stopped to update and it's impossible to esc or to save the changes...
