For matchmaking, does the region in your profile have any impact at all on who it puts you up against? For example, if I say in my profile that I'm in England, will it try to find closer people to match me up against?
Secondly, I'd like to know how the hell this situation happened to me just now. My MLO team is terrible. Assests are about 14mil pounds, and I only have one above average player. Other buys I've made are mid 60's players at best. Anyway, I've set the game to find 'similar level opponents' yet I just got pasted by someone with these stats:
Record of 148W 110D 101L
Assets 28 million pounds
579 division points (over a 100 higher than me)
A lot of top class players like elano, adebayor among others.
But somehow this guy is still in Division 5 with me? This is happening a lot, where I get matched up with people with far superior rating and team strength. Is the matchmaking system just totally broken, like every other aspect of this game online?
