Under 40 hours till the spanish cupfinal now. Atlético Madrid won the Europa League last week, and got a boost from that - while Sevilla secured the Champions League-place at injury time versus Almería this weekend.

Atlético lost last match vs Sevilla, probably because Atlético would (with a lose in both finals) get a Europa-place with Sevilla at 4th place.

Who do you think will win the final?

That last minute goal against Almeria was insane!!
Marti (Ex-Sevilla captain) and Mallorca's hearts were broken! Jesus Navas and co. never gave up!

Atletico's poor start and season is starting to look better and better. I think they can win this! 2 cups in one season then despite poor league showing is good. One domestic, one in Europe.

..and with that a great start of next season vs Barça in Supercopa.

maybe not if you want a confidence booster :P

barca's last 3 internal supercups have been 5-1, 4-0 and 4-2 and each implied a 3-0 in one leg.

It's a season of double winners as a whole and purely for that reason, I'm going to say Atlético are going to pick the trophy up too, I'd probably say Sevilla if there hadn't already been so many double winning teams this season.

Loool true.

Plus you know what, somehow I think, coming off another win in a UEFA cup final so recently and lifting that cup, Atletico will have that extra confidence that they can do it right away again and be a little more hungry too.

Though Sevilla is overall stronger (league table doesn't lie, though they've been poor by their own standards this season too), I fancy the men from Madrid for this too.

As for the Supercopa vs. Barca, lol yeah let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. There's still this final to win and Sevilla ahead which should be an interesting, entertaining and very competitive match. Sevillians themselves haven't had a great season though they at least clinched that 4th place within the last minute of the season! :P :WORSHIP: and will be hungry to make it better and have great record in this competition in recent years.
