just though it was funny, everyone wanted the trophy, as soon as Vidic took it, noone challenged him :D

I'm quite sure he said he wanted to play in Italy for sure, but not necessarily Milan. He said he wanted to stay in Italy because in general, the national team looks at players within Italy more than abroad, especially for the support striker role. Its harder to get big in Italy if you've played abroad for most of it.
 
Sir Alex is calling all his starlets back this summer.I wonder what are the plans for them...
Meanwhile,we are reportedly lining up Klass Jan Huntelaar for 12Million pounds.

When was the last time you saw a player sold for the right price? If the manager thinks we need him then it has to be done.
I personally dont want him though but theres got to be something in him if Sir Alex wants him so bad.
 
Hargreaves for £18m is a joke, Bayern should have to pay the media at least £10m of that for their contribution to his price.

Still not sure how Carrick/Hargreaves would work as a pairing.

Anyone else beginning to feel that Fergie is once again trying to get back to a 4-3-3? Last month or so it's been out in force, with the 3 in the middle of hte pitch, then ronnie, rooney and Giggs switching around up top. slightly concerning...
 
hargreaves is awesome, you guys will see, it will allow carrick to roam freeley up top and leave the tackling to hargreaves, and everyone of you said similair things when we paid a similar amount for carrick.. i think that turnend out GREAT
 
Thats how I originally imagined it would work for us and England if they used them together but where does that leave Scholes?
 
Could go 4-3-3 with Rooney up front on his own and Giggs and Ronaldo as goalscoring wingers. Probably not ideal but there you go. That would be an awesome midfield with Scholes, Hargreaves and Carrick.
 
4-3-3 could go well if we got the right players playing in the right position.The last time we failed because we try to accomodate players into that formation.It failed miserably as we all know by now.

Take note of Chelsea last 2 season.Their 4-3-3 is so damaging.A trio of Carrick,Hargreaves and Scholes would be immense.Cant see us not having loads of possession in a match when those 3 are around.

Latest name to pop up is Florent Malouda.He would be perfect on the left side of a three pronged attack.Franck Ribery would be another option.Looks like a winger is most definitely along with a central midfielder.I am a lost at which striker are we going to sign now.As long as he is fit to wear our number 10.
 
The only real problem with 4-3-3 is that it doesnt work for Rooney.
Rooney plays better alongside someone and when he's playing down the center.
 
Heargreaves and Carrick at holding midfield positions may allow the wingers of a 4-3-3 to have a lot more freedom.

So, my Portuguese (and Benfica fan) advice:

Buy Nani for the other wing position, to be Giggs replacement.

Buy Anderson (Porto) and give him number 10. He is the pure 10. I consider him a mix of Deco and Ronaldinho. At 18, he's easily the best player playing here.

Buy a proper striker.
