Manchester United Thread

The papers are saying Vidic could be back for next week.
That would be a big boost, just hope he isn't being rushed back like Ferdinand was...

I hope we get the win in Milan I really do! I just hope we give it a good go and dont just sit back and play nervous football or else Milan will kill us! Especially Kaka, it made a change to not see him diving all over the place like an annoying little baby at Old Trafford.

Granted it was in the Sun today, and that's only worth a read today because of the nice Keeley picture on P3... but I'm sure I read (think it was on BBC site last weekend) that he'd be back training this Monday gone...

Hmm...Keeley

yeah hes supposedly back for Milan, and then obviously for Chelsea and the rest of the run in

he could play now really, he's Vidic! he only has to stare at Kaka and he'll win the ball!

After watching the other crap that is left in the competition, United so deserve this for their displays alone this season. If Chelsea win the Premiership with their God-awful football I will be absolutely gutted. :(

I think your wrong mate.

Granted we were kak last night but we've excelled in this competition this year and played some good stuff in Europe. Last night was the first time we havent performed. And lets be honest United didnt exactly light up european football in the other rounds until they played Roma at OT.

I think this chummy "Kum-bay-yah" talk (who ever wins should lift the trophy) is misleading

I actually think its true. Something I call mutual respect. Both sets of fans on here realise the best two teams left in the compotition are playing against each other.

Hand on heart, if Man Utd do go through then I will be willing them to win. But I dont think they will go through ;)

I think so too. Unlike other games, this wasnt about mind games, trash talking, diving, cheating, etc. it was just two great sides showing how football should be played.

It was pure footballing action.I heard chelski started running the clock down and the whole 'gamesmanship' low-down once they scored.Thats like what..30 minutes to go? Sheesh.

Strange that an English club used the old 'Italian' mentality, but the Italian club played great football.

For me, Everton is the big one. If we can win this it will be absolutely massive as I can see Chelsea dropping some points in the next couple of games.

Sorry mate I meant the Premiership. Watching Chelsea reminded me of the class we have.

I agree with you, Liverpool have been outstanding in the Champions League thus far (until Weds but Chelsea didn't help by DEFENDING at home.) :)

ah righto. :)

Ronaldo on the bench today, can see the logic of it, needing a rest and Everton having a few players out, but it'll be interesting to see if we can break them down.

ah well, at least Fat Frank and Dogshit are on the bench for Chelski

Unbelievable,
Man U go a goal down and seconds later Chelsea go a goal down!! This has to be the best Premiership season I've ever seen...

Uh oh. Well we knew we had to win. What on Earth is Carrick thinking on that free kick. Nothing he could do to divert it outside of the goal, why would he stick his boot out. Sigh. Still guess VDS should have shouted.

Looking bad at the moment... :(!
