Even though we would agree with that, Sir Alex would probably give it to Richardson instead of gambling on a big night.
 
Come on United! I won't cry too much if we get knocked out tonight but I hope we put on a show for the home support - they deserve it after our last two performances!

watch it again.. brown gave up on the play, rio thought he was going to keep going, so then rio had to hurry it up and thats when the mistake happend, because him and wes werent on the same page..
 
To back up what matherto said how about Portsmouth V Chelsea? how did they do... did they play as well as they did against us?

He is right you know.. teams dont play as hard against Chelski as they do against us and its bloody annoying!

with barca and inter out of the competition, roma - man utd could have been a hell of a final match.... too bad they had to face each others so early in the champions league. :(
i've got the feeling this match will be even more exciting than the first leg ;)

If VDS hadnt rushed out, there wouldnt have been a problem. But he did what he did because of poor communication between him and Rio. Thats the last thing that happened so thats all that matters. You cant count what Brown did cuz people make mistakes all over the pitch all the time and rely on others to have their back. For example, If someone like Scholes lost possession and it then lead to a goal from a VDS error, you blame VDS and not Scholes. Cuz Scholes' error had a minor consequence but it was VDS that made it into a much bigger problem.

Oh stop moaning, thats what you get for being the best team in the 90ties and 00ties. Fergies aim when joining utd was to "knock the scousers of their f-ing perch". To beat the best team of that period. Same goes for you lot now, as chelsea are "plastic" champions and their achievements arent acknowlegded by most of us.
 
Looks like my prediction from last week is coming true. 2-0 for roma with it being better for manu as they can go all out at home. Score so far: 3-0

I don't understand how a team can lose 2-1 and then murder the same opposition 6-0. Does home and away really make that much difference, or was there no concentration in the first leg? Serious question...

F-ing hell, english teams are looking impressive this season arent they? Manu destroy rome after managing to get a decent result with 10 men in rome, liverpool deservedly beat barcelona over 2 legs and dotn even have to get out of second gear to win 3-0 away at psv and chelsea looked like the home team in the mestalla, were an english team hasnt won since 67? (leeds and don revie). Making it likely that we'll have 3 english teams in the semi's!
 
Wow, that game was a disgrace on Roma's end, played like complete shite out there tonight, Utd. won that, through and through, good luck in the Champions League finals, it's only going to be harder from here on out.

Hopefully Roma will remember this and move forward, we've got a promising team, and we've got plenty of growth. But tonights performance was an absolute disgrace. Doni's starting to look lik e VDS a week ago!XD
 
Wow. What an evening. 3 english sides in the CL semi's (well barring disaster). Can't decide the best bit. The play in general. Smith getting a quality goal. United playing like we all know they can or seeing Michael Carrick play wihta holding midfielder, and show that maybe he can play like scholes.

Crikey, I think what Man Utd did to Roma tonight is illegal in atleast 15 states here in the USA. After this performance, United have to win the CL, there's no excuse if they get eliminated after this kind of display. Congrats to Man United, and thank god this wasn't against Juventus.
