Just remember - you now know what its like to have someone constantly piss you off in a thread the way we have to put up with your kiddie antics everytime you invade ours after we've had a bad result. Yeah in fairness its a united supporters thread but it'd be pretty boring if it was only supporters. All are welcome IMO, just keep things civil and bring up real arguements!

(ie, Woodgate said Ronaldo didn't dive, there's no ambiguity there, seriously get over it)

Northstand hero it is a sweeping statement, yes, but only because of the manner inwhich certain people act in this forum that makes me think they are of a younger age. Neglected to mention Beachryan before, a sensible poster.

We are being linked with Fernando Torres,Owen Hargreaves,Gareth Bale and Nani before these lot came up today...Wesley Sneijder,Klass Jan Huntelaar,Deco and surprisingly Micah Richards.Sneijder and Richards to replace Scholes and Neville respectively perhaps?
 
Not sure that Deco would come as Chelsea would double anything we offered. Nani would be ok, but they want 13 million for him.
Richards would be good as he's proven in the prem.

No doubt we'll be linked with every decent player in the world over the next 6 months. Anyone that the press think can replace older players will be coming. When they sign, I'll believe it.
 
I agree with Marukomu. I reckon Lennon would be a great signing personally. He could replace Giggs and we could switch Ronaldo to the left. Imagine them two wingers in your starting eleven! :drools:
 
Have we ever been linked to Aaron Lennon before? Lots of good players popping up lately and the summer transfer window should be a busy one for us.

The only thing I will say is Ronaldo this season has performed consistantly. Other seasons this has not been the case.

How can you have ever thought Ronaldo was shit? He has always has the raw talent, he just needed to adjust to England football.
 
How much would it cost to bring Lennon to ManU? Is Nani cheaper? Cause you know about the Portuguese wingers, that's where we produce the best talents. (Figo, Simao, Ronaldo, Quaresma, Nani, etc.)

adjusting to English football he may have been, but not being able to pass, cross or shoot as a winger was hurting the team, and was the basis for being shit
 
Aww come on,you might have been a little hard on Ronaldo when he first played for us.He is very raw at that time but clearly the potential is there,thats why Sir Alex signed him after seeing him first time,first hand in a friendly.Our players reportedly bugged Sir Alex to sign him in the plane off Lisbon Airport.

that was the problem, because in the game against Lison, he destroyed us, the game against Bolton when he came on, he destroyed them, and against Millwall in the FA Cup Final he destroyed them, but it was knowing he had that much ability, and then watching every game as he played worse and worse, that made me think he's shit

but my my, what a way to prove everyone wrong this year, un-fucking-stoppable that boy is
