Gareth - I support Rangers and Madrid? Since when? I think all Scottish football is AWFUL! I pretended to like Madrid for obvious reasons that only older Evo-Webbers will know. :)

you're rite, all scottish football is awful.and it was supposed to be a joke.

Some Bolton defender said that Ronaldo was nothing special. Well, two assists already. :)

Edit: caused the 3rd goal already from his deflected shot.

Ronaldo is the man of the season, no doubt. 16 goals and ten assists says it all and will be the overiding difference between Man U and Chelsea. He's been class.

WOOHOO!

Its celebration time as we reach double figures!

Todays pen was the sixth awarded for a visiting team at Old Trafford since 1993!

Well done one and all and congrats all round.

Ronaldo`s cheeky dribbling.... even the sideline ref couldn`t see the ball cross the line. Sideline ref said "that bloke uses 4 legs!"

the ball didn't go all the way over, so that doesn't matter :P

we (or that should just be Ronaldo?) trully battered them today, and good to see Smith getting properly involved, excellent ball to Rooney, and I loved how he just twatted it into the net

good times

It does help that most teams haven't dared to go near our penalty area since 1993. People said a very similar thing about Liverpool when the were dominant.

If you take the 5 most successful sides in the prem since 1993 - Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle, it's true that United have conceded the least penalties, mainly for the reason stated above. Another fact is that they've also been awarded the least.

awarded conceded
Ars 61 29
Che 53 30
Liv 63 44
Man 53 23
New 68 42

In a Portuguese paper they wrote that C. Ronaldo wants to get paid something like 189.000 Euros per week, something that stopped negotiations for now because ManU will only go as high as what Rio gets (160.000).

Heard/read anything about that over there?

Talks are going well last I heard

Sorry to sound as though Im bumming Wayne Rooney but his goals yesterday were pretty good to watch, credit to Ronaldo and Smith for their assists

Went to old trafford on tuesday for the charity game..... Ronadlo FK was amazing, that boy is getting scary good. Hope he stays in the prem for a few more years.

Finally, a stonewall penalty, let's see what Gareth has to say about this one. Boro have some serious tempers, Morrison went in there to take Ronaldo out, well deserved red card. Also thought the ref dealt with that well, kick it out and I'll end this. Rooney's lucky to still be on the pitch, even if it was clear hte boro players were trying to start something with him.
