exactly, I think thats one area we need to improve on if we want to win the title. We need to study Portuguese players/teams and learn how to cheat like a proper footballer. ;)
 
As much as that might have looked like a dive, there must be a reason why Giggs was subbed off that exact moment.
 
That Nakamura guy is really good. I heard much about him from the scottish league but hadnt watched him play until tonight. He makes Park look like a rookie.
 
The first goal gave us a wake up call and we looked confident from then on. The Celtic keeper was amazing though. Easily could have been another 4 goals for us. I know this might sound like every other game but they were genuine chances that you'd expect us to put away 99% of the time.

The only worrying thing is that I hoping we dont need to conceed against Arsenal to give us that kick up the backside that makes us look unstoppable.

Seriously, why does it always happed to us? Is it something our players are doing that other teams dont?
 
Always makes me wonder what they are doing in training. Another thing is when our players do get injured, most of the time its long term and then you hear about them having to aquire further operations.
 
Yeah I guess so, even though he has been playing shit the last time he has played. Even when he came on tonight, he looked dodgy. Seems like there is something wrong with his attitude maybe.
 
Shit. Just turned on the TV here (early morning) and all they're showing is the Nakamura goal. What? we lost?
It wasn't until I checked the net that I found out we won.\\:o/
 
Great win tonite.We easily could have scored at least 2 more if not for their keeper who had a blinder.Louis Saha was my man of the match,rightfully doing the things he should do,getting himself into the crunch.Celtic scored with their only 2 solid oppurtunities.First was really poor concentration by Rio and second was a sublime freekick.Ole Solskjaer is back with his long awaited Champions League goal,who would have thought he would ever do that again.Tragically we lost both Park and Giggs,3 months and 3 weeks respectively.This will pose trouble for us but we need to adjust and adapt.Arsenal is up next,roll on sunday!

Great goal by Nakamura...(always a fan of Japanese players....rise Asia!! keke)....nice game....finishing...still somewhat a problem as well as defending....lost of concentration every here and there really costs us!!!

as i predicted, not as easy as expected...should be a good wake-up call especially against Arsenal this sunday!!!! hope that they will all stick up together and get 3 points for us!!!.......

still sad that Park and Giggs got injured...any news on how???

We started the second half with Ole and Saha up front and Rooney on the wing. So I'm guessing we might play some part of the Arsenal game that way too.
 
Shaky first half last night but a whole differant second half, Scholesy was suberb, great ball through for Saha's 2nd. Bad luck losing Giggs and Park

As for Sunday I reckon Ronaldo will play on the left, Fletcher on the right with Scholes and Carrick in the middle, I think Arsenals shite performances away will just be enough to shade it for United, im expecting alot more from Rooney in this match he normally loves scoring against Arsenal anyway!

So does Chelsea! christ even John Terry dived for a soft penalty against Blackburn at Ewood Park.... and dont get me started on Didier Dogbreath!

are you sur it was not a penalty??:roll: But i think there was a big foul on giggs yesterday and it was a clear penalty Wasn't it???
 
Aren't they similar to the Gerrard penalty a few weeks ago when the ref said the intention to touch was there. It could become absolutely stupid if it carries on. The Giggs pen looked harsh, but these days, players are going to milk it. EVERY team does it, but the bigger teams are highlighted more, although admittedly, Chelsea have more serial offenders and probably do deserve all the stick they get.

Couldnt agree more with you :)

It used to be Arsenal, does anyone remember when we beat them 4-2 at highbury and that disgraceful dive by Ashley Cole in our Penalty Area when no one was anywhere near him!!?

Reyes had a tendancy to fall over every 5 mins, Fabregas still goes down under the lightest of touches and Ljungberg even tripped over his own player on an attack for Arsenal once and shouted for a penalty!

I think thats why every one(including me) disliked arsenal. Even when they were winning titles, their cockyness and deceit turned people off.

Ha thats very rich coming from a chlesea boy, camp of cheating scum and mercenaries. You got Drogba, who admits he cheats. Robben the pansy play actor who went down like a sack of patatoes after just being tapped by Reina, remember that? Makelele who pretended he got hit in the face when the guy didnt even touch him against Monaco in the semi final to get that man sent off only for it to.backfire 2-1. And there are plenty other players who cheat for chelsea like scum wright phillips against Newcastle.
