Manchester United Thread

I just hope the money is used to buy players from the Sponsorshop deal with AIG. Yeah the logo looks crap but hey if we have the money to go out and buy some decent midfields who cares. you buy the shirt because of our badge not the sponsor. Now we just need to offload Fletcher & Richardson to some crap teams to make room for Riquelme and Diarra (Lyon).

I do hope that happens, but erm, if they don't know its united's jersey, why would people be so eager to rush out and buy an AIG shirt? Like, OMG that's my favourite insurance company, I need apparel!!!

You shouldnt have bought the subject up in the first place seing how your team's divers are a lot worse. Comparing those idiots to our players is dumb. Our players hardly get anything from diving anyway. As a matter of fact, every time our players are genuinely fouled in a dangerous position, the ref waves "play on" cuz he assumes we dived.
Just stop posting dumb comments here all the time like your last post which is a typical bradley1886 post. :roll:

Our teams divers are a lot worse? Well I'm sorry that we haven't quite perfected the 8ft touch-down dive like your players have.

i do see this to be a great game!! can't wait for it...and very crucial for both teams cause Arsenal wants to retain the 4th spot and Man Utd would like to keep a firm hold of second (and best if Chelsea loses for closer edge to first).

I won't be too optimistic and say that we will win the league for sure, cause the gap really is a little too big in this timeframe with the teams we will be playing....but would be great to end the season with a high winning-streak and hopes high for a better 2006-2007 season!!

Actually,come to think about it...its not so bad after all having AIG as our sponsor.It IS an insurance company plus more,at least its a "helping people" company.Think of this,if we got Mansion instead,its not a "healthy" sponsor to begin with,same goes for teams having Alcoholic Brands as their shirt sponsor.It is the second biggest deal in world football behind Juve's.Its not bad for United's financial status as a whole but them freakin Yanks should sack their Logo designer and employ me instead.Their logo is mediocre to say the least.

I think they mostly help themselves. For example they recently had to pay $1,64 billion to settle accounting fraud charges:

just found out that (its old news to everyone else though) that keano is having the Testomonial game at OT v celtic, he sort of deserves that, but isnt this the same guy who slagged off people for having testomonials?

Also who is he gonna play for?

they've had to give celtic 20K tickets cos they know alot of us wont bother so this means they'll probley get the whole north stand, oh I can almost smell the super strength lager....

On the keane thing, its sort of ironic that the same players he slagged off have gotten us within distance of the champs and won a cup final, yet keano wont get a medal this year...

I heard he rejected the idea of the testimonial at first. He probably changed his mind after hearing our fans continue to chant his name every week.
