No I just dont fancy hearing peoples lurid fantasies with players. Especially when there are 13-14year olds lurking the forum who could see this kind of thing you seem so keen on posting.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

This is hilarious, did Fergie let Quieroz pick the team? So you play Ritchie Jones, John OShea, Ole and Richadrson in the middle, now there's 4 players that claerly have a good understanding of each other. I'm not going to complain about the pitch, these are pro footballers, they should damn well be able to annihlate a bunch of amateurs (no offense intended) if they were barefoot on hot coals. Poor Rossi seems to have been forgottne, Saha looks clueless and there is no midfield link up. Peachy!

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

Its not that bad a pitch that we shouldnt be able to string a couple of passes together. Just poor communication between players it seems.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

Haha, good to see Fergie learned from last years draw at exeter. He must really like playing FA Cup matches I guess...

Alot stronger team than last years!

0-0 every prem team struggled bah Blackburn!

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

i'll say good performance by Burton, i was thinking Fergie should have brought on Park for R. Jones. Good game for bardsley, i wonder if he got the MOM award

Saha was really shite today... look at how he tried to volley with his left foot when the ball was closer to his right foot... he looked like an idiot. It should be a goal IMO

Park was injured in the warm up

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

All i'm forced to hope is that this isn't he same jones taht everyone was rumouring to be keane's replacement last year, but i fear it is. He was pretty poor, though I guess if he's been on loan he won't have had any time to play with the team. Regardless, he should absolutely have finished that match, had an open volley at the end from no mroe than 6 metres out and slammed it dead centre into the keeper, hwo even dove the wrong way! Rest of match he was poor.

Pique had a couple moments of terror, but generally looked pretty strong. And yeah Saha really sucked. So did anyone notice Ole was playing? Cause i watched the whole match and didn't see him :(

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

A weekend for the under dogs!

Ole was poor but were we expecting anything else?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

Ole has been out for 18months i think correct me if im wrong so we shouldnt of really expected much, he needs games and only then is he gonna get sharpness back. I cant fault Fergie for playing lesser team and giving youngsters ago as considering it was against Burton. Professional players or not the pitch was terrible and so was the ball, you could see the players found it difficult.

Credit to burton though they played very well and put in a good match. Towards the end i thought it would of been harsh if we nicked win as they did deserve something. Also admit they did give me kinda of fright when they had that freekick towards the end of the match.

Positives to take out is bardsley, i know it was only against burton but he played very well and was always willing to get into the action. Besides that whenever he gets called into the first team he does good solid job and rarely makes bad decisions. I reckon he be good cover now for when G.Neville is injured.
The omen is good consider last season we drew with exeter and everyone made big deal out of it but we sorted it out in the reply, then went on to reach final which we should have won

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

You boys can dress it up how you want but the truth is you should be beating teams of the standard of Burton even with such a weakened side. Simple as.

Should of won ok we didnt its a game of bloody football and they played like there lives depended on it!

Every team struggled and that was with most there best teams!

Thats why everyone loves the FA cup as the unexpected might just happen.

I think you should focus on your own team if you got nothing better to add. Did you even watch the game? As deadman said its football. No team has right to automatically win a match because of the name and reputation of the football club

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

Difficult game nonetheless last nite.We should have won but we didnt and now lets look on the brighter side.We are helping them by replaying the tie back at OT.That aside where does this news that Simao Sabrosa is about to join us,surfaces from? I know he has been a target for Pool for quite some time now,but what a wicked twist it will be if he decides to join us?

That's a terrible accusation to make, some 13-14 year old could read that and think the worst of their father. Shocking to even suggest that.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

I doubt simão leaves benfica for either one.
It would be stupid letting simão go now with the WC so near. He is a sure presence there. But who knows. for the right price... I wouls say around 15-20 any could take him.

Your post wasnt a joke. It was overview of the match which wasnt valid point. If you said a joke like when fergie bought rooney and ronaldo in response to the crowds pleas, then i could of accepted and moved on. I much rather hear a joke of football then hear some pub fan opinion.

I dont understand what you mean by this? You were cleary talking of sexual nature which had nothing to do with football but much rather of the players which you wanted to believe were engaging in lurid sex on the pitch, fantasing the acts and wanted us to play along with more sexual description so you could please yourself.

This is your problem Alucard, unless you agree with the point of view, its not a valid comment.

There is alot of posts here that i dont agree with , but still they make good points and talk bout the match or have decent view of things to happen. You expect united to just walk out on the pitch and opposition lay down and let us score? You saying we should be beating teams like burton etc with weak whatever team isnt saying much really. Judging from your replies i take it you didnt watch the match. Probably just picked up paper and read the headlines and came here to say we should win.

I saw the match, Burton played out of their skin. However, they are non-league. My original point though still stands.
