Manchester United Thread

Haha, Saha is actually kind of amusing now. I mean really, how much does he get paid? To do what? And how does he hurt himself training, for an entire year?! I mean, can't he do some serious stretching or something? It's absurd, i want my money back.

Speaking of perpetually hurt, where's Ole?

hahahahahaha....u hafta love Saha and his injuries!!! i mean from internationals...ok fine....training?? for a year?? ok man..a little too much???

i LOVE ole...wish that he can be back sooner...he said somewhere in October...it's almost November...lolz, come back ole..come back1!!!

Can't believe he's injured again, this is getting silly.

It's a big shame too because he is a good player when fit and playing regularly, but the guy is so unlucky with injuries, that or he's not training properly, i don't know.

Hahaha...Saha!!! I knew it.I think, that guy must have worked late a lot at night on his bed...you should see his wife damn it,pretty bird she is.Its very rare for someone to get injured even before recovering 50%.Saha's the man!!

The United side facing Barnet tonight is likely to be dominated by a host of young talent, alongside a sprinkling of experience.Wes Brown is back from a thigh injury, while Tim Howard is set to deputise for Edwin van der Sar in goal. The likes of Giuseppe Rossi - who bagged his first senior goal in the 3-1 victory at Sunderland - Gerard Pique and Lee Martin will be given their chance to shine, while academy starlets Adam Eckersley, Fraizer Campbell, Richie Jones and Darron Gibson have also been handed squad numbers for the match.

Darron Gibson should be the next guy stepping up to the first team. The boy has got skills and he takes set pieces very well.

Good, we need someone who can actually take a decent corner and free kick ;)

Also someone who can defend them would be nice too #-o

Good result :)

Hope the slip by pique that gave them the chance for their goal won't dent his confidence, and same to the barnet keeper, poor guy.

I'll have to catch the highlights later.

Says on the news tonight that george best is now in a critical condition in hospital, doesn't look good.

My prayers are with him.

Now that Browns back wouldnt it a be a godd idea in a couple of games to place him with Rio in the centre of defence and switch Silvestre to left-back?

While i think that would be a good idea since we could get o'shea out of the team, brown can be rather careless sometimes and seems prone to making mistakes, so i don't know, i think it could work but it also could easily backfire.

Well if you think about it, both Silvestre and now recently, Rio can also make random mistakes too so IMO its definately worth trying out.

We need an attacking full back and in my opinion Silvestre was one of the best when playing there for us. He'd get up and down the pitch and put in some useful crosses.
Silvestre can be just as careless as Brown in the centre so it wouldnt make that much difference and with Giggs out we've got the option of using Richardson as an actual winger.

Park should be a starter but for the moment Ronaldo should be benched until his problems are over and can fully concentrate on football. A naturally left-footed winger is always an advantage and there is no better time to see what Kierans capable of than now.

I wouldnt rush Brown back to the first eleven. Its just not wise. The lad has not been playing for the last 6-7 weeks now and has just got his first 90minutes with the kids last wednesday.I'd give him a couple of runs more with the reserves team before coming back to the first team, with two things in mind,he has to regain his match fitness and confidence back.

yeah, i agree with Phrase..even though it is a great movement and it will really help us in the attack and defense...but quickly rushing a guy who just came back from injury to the starting 11....not wise...not wise!!! i say sub him on at like half time and let him go from there....(or do what phrase said)

but i think Ronnie should get to start cause that really helps his confidence level with the team...but that's just my opinion

I like the sound of Rio getting it, though it would be great if Scholes was the scorer, I mean he's certainly been involved with as many of those goals as anyone else...

Lets just hope we get at least 1000, and at least 1 more than boro!

And chelski draw...lets go blackburn!

we are being humiliated by boro. what a joke!

i don't know how much more i can watch.

don't know who would want to sign for utd. we are playing like a bunch of schoolboys.

I watch Chelsea games win or lose no matter what, ill keep my eyes glued to the screen, Ferdinand has been awful!

How do watch them? They're not on TV :(

I'd try to stream, but I use BT broadband, and for some reason PPLive and the like don't work with it, actualyl shuts down my connection for a minute!
