Good game to watch :))

Good performances from Macheda and Cleverley but im not totally sold on the latter even with that great goal.

Hernandez was VERY impressive in his cameo, it was like we signed a superstar with the hype before he came on and the way he delivered once he did come on. Looks a real star in the making :...

Welbeck had another great cameo, I hope he either stays with us or goes on loan to PL team and gets regular minutes.

Shame about Obertan who looked really good early on and along with Welbeck been the most impressive of the tour.

All we need now is for Ozil to complete his medical unscathed and were set for the season.


Only kidding about Ozil but we can hope

If Scholes had've done it you'd be calling it beautiful.

With 2 men on him he spotted Cleverley's run, clipped it over the defence and into his path. That was pretty much the only ball he could play too with all other angles blocked.

You don`t understand brotha even Futbol analysis in Mexico are dumb founded by most of mutud fans. Not sure if its true but they even put a chart. Some are shock to ask so much from him so early to step up . They said this is just a bitter pill for Berbatov and his price tag. Still I`m sure it was from some blog even though they claim it wasn`t

I think that's more to do with the fan's attitudes towards Berbatov rather than over expectation with regards to Hernandez's impact, not that there aren't any fans who are expecting too much from Hernandez.

Theres a huge difference here though. Berba is in his prime and one of the most expensive transfers in football. When a player like that doesnt live up to the hype then there's real frustration, and rightfully so.
If Chicharito on the other hand doesnt live up to the hype then people will just accept that we got a little carried away, cuz he's still only young and he wasnt too expensive. Its more excitement than serious expectation. Chicharito has nothing to worry about.

Good response I think your both spot on. So price tag puts a unwanted burden on a player. It`s true if Berba was 15m it wouldn`t be a gripe. Most of the spanish (Mex) commentators wants Hernandez to succeed and does feel fans are bothered by the price tag vs the result.

Hernandez comes in on a price of a happy meal, practically this can make a massive statement to agents n clubs! I really hope he scores lots too not against the Arsenal ..God No! but I`ll add 61% to the poll then.We can`t really blame berba for the value spurs put ,but to hold as an example for others so be it!

Slightly worried how shite United have been with aerial threats in pre season. Smalling for a big lad has been easily beat quite a few times, defiantly something he needs to work on. Thank god Vidic signed and is back soon

I know its just a friendly but its a bit weird when you score and put your team in the lead, only to have to come out in the second half to try and undo your own work for the other team. :LOL:

I wanted him to score for Chivas, but only if he scored 2 for us in the second half. He didn't, so I suggest we sell him back. :P

At least he escaped any Scholes "tackles"

Are defence has been very poor but then you have to look at the fact we've had Fabio and Rafael in the same lineup with both of them needing to improve their defensive game along with a very raw Smalling.

Vidic and Evra will make a massive difference along with Ferdinand once he's back.

this is a case of many friendly matches i think...

i know about Slovan vs. Neapol match in Bratislava, where Hamsik played first half in Slovan shirt against Neapol..and then switched sides, just like Hernandez...

anyway...i think this kid can be a big big hit in premier league but lets see him in action and then judge..

he was a bargain for united.

I read the report from the portuguese press yesterday they made out like nothing had happened, our press get hold of it a few days later and it turns out he got dragged out of a burning wreck unconscious!

Can't believe he sung songs, outrageous.

I hate the fact some footballers still smoke and drink, to be perfectly honest, just seems so irresponsible. The amount the get paid compared to other athletes who are far more committed doesn't help. That's life I guess...

I don't see anything wrong with having a drink but smoking in general is just a shite thing to do.

Still, it's entirely upto him what he does with his life and I'm sure he wasn't the only one singing songs, smoking and taking leaks against a wall that night.
