Manchester United Thread

WOOOOOOOOOOO 3 IN A ROW :DD

Was a shite game but it was never really about that today, Got the point and were again crowned Champions.

Seriously how good is this team?! We haven't really been at our best for 90% of the season and have managed a Treble, retain the title for a 3rd season in a row.

Only sad note to the day is Tevez is surely off, Good luck to him wherever he goes (except Liverpool/City) been a good player for us and deserves the medals he's won with us.

:LOL: At Anderson and Ronaldo, Still Rome to come people! Should be a great game for neatrals no doubt.

So very, very relieved that we don't have to wait a week.

Also I was laughing my fucking arse off at Anderson marching with the soliders.

That right there sums up a lot about this season for me. Considering we've not been title challengers for YEARS and suddenly we've nearly pushed you (a team with players of experience of winning the league consistently) to the final day is a big improvement for us and it just makes it more disappointing looking back to those draws we had. The fact that you (and I'm sure the Utd team and other fans) are "relieved" is a sign that we've clearly progressed.

If we beat WBA and Spurs, we'd have been one point short of winning the league and that's pretty damn good considering our previous league performances and we have a manager who plays defensive football and will always struggle in the league ;) Also the fact that we've done the double over the league winners and the team who (hopefully) will finish third.

Still, really proud of our lot :D

And you rightly should be, not even the most ardent of United fans would deny you've had a great year.

It's been an entertaining and enthralling title race which is only good for the league, regardless of whether it's been the same outcome in the end.

I just hope it's Arsenal or Chelsea if not us next season, not sure how I'd take finally getting the 18th and then you adding your 19th straight away. :P (Especially considering I've never seen a Liverpool title win)

hahaha, i love being bored by another Man Utd triumph!! LOL..

very relieved as Liverpool has been really great this year (considering how they've been of the past few years). Really enjoyed displaying this victory before my Liverpool friends...

But with that said, if we do not win next year (which will be what the league wants) i do hope its someone other than Liverpool...haha, it'd suck if we've finally won 18th to match you guys and u go on with a 19th.

but celebrations have to be cut short....Barca is still straight ahead!!

A uterrly shite match yesterday but it doesn't matter as we hae secured the title for the 3rd time in a row and also for the 18th time. Now onwards to Roma via Hull! :P


PS Does anyone know what kit United are wearing the CL final? I'm wanting to know as I wish to order the shirt with the occasion of the final being stitched in the middle of the shirt... And I'll leave the back blank for now as if we win I'll get Rome 09 put on back, however if we lose which doesn't bear thinking about I'll just grab my name and number on it.

Been waiting for answers for this myself aswell. Im sure were wearing "all White" like we did against Liverpool at Anfield but no news of the shirt going on sale this year so far.

Well Barca are the 'home' team so if they decide to wear their home kit (which I imagine they would) I dont think we'd be allowed to wear our home shirt (with white shorts and socks) even though I dont think it would clash that badly. Ironically we couldn't wear the blue 'european' anniversary kit as that would be a total clash, so it's looking like an all white number as YG said.

Anyone Else see the Player Awards, Good to see Vidic pick up the big 2 Matt Busby POTY and Players POTY. Ronaldo got goal of the season for his rocket against Porto and Kiko got YPOTY. :LOL: Fergie seemed pretty pissed at times. Been a great season as usual. Hopefully we can cap off the season by keeping big ears.

Tbh tho can you see Barca striking a deal with us to let us wear the Blue European Kit and Them wearing thier yellow kit? Doubtful!

I would like to say congratulations on winning the title. fully deserved it more then any of the previous 2 years you have won it.

You lot are on a different planet and i can see why ronaldo is one of the best players in the world. i thought messi was better but after seeing ronaldo perform where it counts ie in big games, messi really doesnt hold a candle againts ronaldo.

Arsenal are miles away from being as good as you lot with the team we have. maybe in 3-4 years time with the current arsenal side stil intaked, we could be playing the sort of football you lot are playing.

Ferguson has a team filled with a mixture of youth and experience and thats what wenger needs.

When wenger had that mixture, we was on top of our game just like Manu.

Ferguson and wenger looks as if they have become best friends. 40 games they have played eachother says it all and the amount of respect these two have is amazing.

well done Manu and best of luck in europe
