What is your avatar Revan? For some reason I see, looking from above, a girl/woman on her knees bent over about to be f!$ted.........

Even if "on paper" (ridiculous and overrated expression) it looks easy, Porto are a Hard-Working team, which means that even tough they aren't the best they work their asses off until the ref ends the match to score the equalizing/victory goal, so i would rule them out yet, lets see what the first leg looks like and then we can suppose things but saying that they are easy will only make them work only for this game and it will be harder for you lot, even though you are class (just not as classy as the Guns, which is my fav in the EPL =P) you CAN still lose games.

Yeah, we got a wake-up call against Liverpool that showed how costly a lack of concentration can be in a football match, so I expect us to not take Porto lightly, you shouldn't take any club for granted in the CL anyway. We weren't playing particularly well in the fe weeks before the Liverpool game so I expect us to finally play to our full potential in the business end of this season.

Porto are a very good team. They've some great players, and a great coach. Lucho is world class IMO, and Lisandro Lopez, is a very clinical striker. And they've filled their team with players who give it their all.

I dunno. Depends on how the next game goes. Arsenal are capable of beating us IMO. They always seem to be able to beat us when we least expect it.

You know, maybe if one of our youngsters was that stupid, or if it was a really fiery game with tempers flared, or if it was a nothing match then I'd forgive the utter stupidity of deliberately handling the ball to stop a goal in the first 20 minutes. But it's f*cking Paul f(cking scholes. You absolute muppet. Take the damn goal, with eleven on the pitch we can easily score 2.

Well we had to crumble at some point I guess. To be honest at the beginning of the year I picked Chelsea to win the league, and it's starting to look that way again. What's utterly disgusting is Ronaldo's effort in this match. I'd say substitute him, but we need his ability desperately. Fergie has fielded basically lots of a second XI in this match, after a week's break, and beforae massive break. I have simply no idea what he's thinking. A team with Giggs, Scholes, Ronaldo, Berbatov...I mean who is going to close, who is going to provide the prsesure? Not a one of them I assure you.

Shocked. Was really looking forward to seeing our first XI out there today ripping apart Fulham in the sun. Instead we're clinging to keep the goal difference low.

And I fully expect Benitez to come out and claim that Fulham followed his game plan to beat us.

What a fucking awful performance. We need Rooney or Tevez on because there's absolutely no movement at all, completely static. All Giggs and Scholes (until he thought he was playing basketball) have done is give the ball away just like when they came on against Liverpool. No one is picking up Zamora, he's dropping into space and being left and it's gonna cost us if we're not careful. Ferdinand and maybe Fletcher are the only ones pulling their weight.

Ronaldo is acting like a complete cunt, he needs to learn to get on with it and try to play football, not try to win freekicks so he can smash them into the wall over and over.

It's just fucking embarrassing. I thought after last week we'd be all over them but we've got a team out with no drive or movement and it looks like we're trying to gift the title back to Pool or Chelsea like they gifted it to us.

When did we go from one of the most attacking, pacey teams in Europe to the slow, predictable, bland, complacent toothless team we've been for the past few weeks? I really fucking hope we can turn this around in the second half, Fergie has got to change something.

Ooooh, can Murphy do his usual and score in a 1-0 win against Manu? :D

Won't matter, Liverpool will only draw tommorow anyway.

I remember hearing that comment at the beginning of the season after Berbatov signed. Tbh Ive never seen him run about/in to space like Tevez or Rooney. And Ronaldo is just having one of his petulant days leaving little movement up front. Long may it continue ;)

Harsh red for Rooney, given the conditions of the match, I'd like a bit of common sense frmo the ref there. Have a word. He's been sent off for pulling a shirt and throwing a ball away, technically only one foul all match.

Fair play to Fulham, they played superbly in the first half. This was down to Fergie and Scholes...

Just seen a replay of Rooney's second yellow - that's an atrocious decision from fat Phil Dowd. I mean seriously, the 88th minute, in a game that is over, in one you can understand the players having some emotion, and he flicks it away. All I can think of is that he's wanted to book him for something else. If that is a player other than wayne rooney, he'd not be sent off. If that is a referee with some common sense, he's not sent off.

Well at least we have a two week (three week for Scholes, Rooney, and Vida, good job boys! Have we gone from the top of the fair play chart to the bottom in one week!?) break to get our damn team together.

I honestly think we've blown it. Aston Villa next. Much better team than Fulham and we have no Rooney or Vidic for it.

I agree, it's gone. We went through that period where we didnt have to do anything to win a game and now the complacency has set in. We'll draw against Villa, Spurs and City and Arsenal will beat us. I feel sick.

Hey, the league's not over yet! please, don't assume the other teams are going to walk the next 10 matches! Have some perspective! Today was Fergie and Scholes' fault. (I still can't believe Rooney got sent off for that, utterly shocking). And the first 30 mins of the secon dhalf we dominated and created with only 9 men. You can't count Ronaldo in that, I'm afraid. Btw, the foul stats read Pantsil - 11, Rooney - 1.
