Manchester United Thread

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

I dont think any United fan thinks Nani can hit Ronaldo's level but with that being said i can see him being a top player for us for years to come. As long as he bulks up, matures with his play he'll be fine.

EDIT: Some Reports are claiming Berbatov will be at Carrington tommorow for a Medical! :DD

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

is SAF staying to help shape these players or isn`t he off. TBH I always felt when the yanks came onboard SAF cared more for his legacy then to put ease on the FC united group. The amount of money in transfers are sky high out of Chels and mufc camp. Arsenal just finish paying Wiltord transfer bill

its always been the way with rich clubs, having to pay over the odds for players..

SAF will stay 1 or maybe 2 seasons but when he goes the bulk of the team will still be of a good age to carry on..

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

Oh well I lived in hope!

"I don't believe in that," Wenger told the club's official website.

"I don't believe Thierry Henry will come back to England. That is my gut feeling.

"But I think if he comes back to England then he comes back to Arsenal."

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

Lee Martin has gone on loan to Nottingham Forest.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

Looks like another great signing by Sir Alex. Are both brothers as good as each other?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

Apparently they're both really good. This was the one that didn't get the first team run out.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

I think Fabio is better than Rafael.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

Fabio may be better than Rafael but I can see Rafael having a better chance of making it into our first team.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

With players like that in our youth system, do we really need to sign anyone? I can't wait for this season to start.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

Yeh just 1 CF and then we've got a squad which could be untouched for 2-3 seasons :))

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

He's only got one toilet in his house...and it's upstairs...and he got injured on the way...

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

Another season about to start and ferguson is another year older, 76 years of age he is now. A lot of the Man U players are saying that he's slurring a lot of his words during practise and team talks (mate of mine who works as junior caretaker at Man U practice facility said he was driving by on a 4x4 lawnmower during a Utd training session and Ferguson was totally incoherent, talking real low but not even towards the players more towards the corner flag) and the Utd players are getting really annoyed at this. Also Rooney is apparenly pissed because he wanted to play for Nigeria during the Olympics claiming that one of his great granfathers on his Dads side was Nigerian and Sir Alex wouldn't let him go and now he wants a transfer to Grasshopper Zurich.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

OMG SACK FEGRIE!!!!11

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

Tevez, Saha, Ronaldo, Nani, Hargreaves, Anderson, Carrick and possibly Berbatov.

That's my response to us being pretty lacking in attack. Alternatively, Campbell, Possebon, Da Silva, O'Shea, Fletcher, Brown, Giggs. Either way, Newcastle parked the bus very well, Butt was awesome, and we had bugger all up front, what did anyone expect?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

We always start slowly lads, :)) are injury/missing list is fucking huge so no worries IMO, If we can stay within 3 points of the leaders and then we get Ronaldo, Berbatov, Tevez, Hargreaves, Carrick, Anderson and Nani we'll be flying:BY:

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

Coloccini was pretty awesome. Continuing his La Liga form.

It's only the first game.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

Yep, we're doing better than we were at this time last season.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

I just need to know, any1 fell asleep with that game?..

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread - 68' 99' 08' European Champions!!!!!!!!

Saw the two twins in TGI Friday's in Sale tonight. So obviously they're not too dissapointed with the result...

Yeah, when the fixtures were released I figure Sky/FA want United to either have the title sown up by October, or completely out of it. When you compare Aug/Sept schedules of teh big 4 there is a massive disadvantage to United. And they'll play all of those without Ronaldo too. Sigh.

Definitely think it's Chelsea's year. It's not in the league's best interest to have a 3-peat. Maybe that was weighing on the minds of the FA/Sky/Schedulers... ;)
