I think Ronaldo has been pretty clever really by not burning his bridges. Sure, he wants to play for Real Madrid, but he hasn't said he doesn't want to play for us. All the shit was spouted by the media.

Not really sure about Berbatov's temperament to be honest. He's a bit of a whinger.

If Ronaldo doesn't leave, where do you see Berbatov fitting in? Will Tevez will out wide, or Rooney and Tevez will be rotated?

I feel Ronaldo has lost his starting place because of all these fiasco surrounding him and will be rotated.Berbatov will definitely be in Ruud's old role and will be supported by Rooney/Tevez/Ronaldo/Nani/Giggs/Park.

I see. I hope to see Anderson behind Berbatov too a lot next season. Nani, I don't rate much. Good squad player, and adds some pace.

That might 3/4 into the season Bhai.We have the perfect player for that role and that is Wazza.Nani has a lot of potential and seems more direct than Realnaldo when he first play for us.Should grow like how Cristiano did and hopefully emulate his compatriot.

Well,we got Sir Alex's word on that for now but Ronaldo himself have not said anything yet to back up the gaffer's comments.

Seems like its sort of official that Ronaldo is staying. SAF seems less unhappy about the situation, it seems both him and Ron our on good terms again i wont "Boo" a Man Utd player ever but i doubt we'll be hearing "Viva Ronaldo" that much next season.

I think signing Berbatov can only be a good thing, I'm not sure he'll play like Ruud though, they're different kinds of players I think. That's an amazing attack though, Rooney, Tevez, Ronaldo and The Berb :w00t: Awesome. I hope they sort it sooner rather than later though so he has time to settle in a bit before the season starts.

He'll score two or three goals and it'll never stop, just you watch.

Most of our fanbase at home at least is fickle, as soon as he comes back, they'll forget all about this summer.

It's pathetic, but it'll happen, and I might just get roped into it because it's such a catchy song (well, apart from when you hear the usual cockney accent singing it)...

United and lfc reported to the FA by spurs for tapping up Berbatov & Keane...

The statement is pretty strong.

Not sure of full facts, whether SAF mentioned Berbatov by name for example.

Either way it doesnt look good after the clubs stance over ronaldo.

I thought tap up was an act of secrecy behind closed doors w/o club aware of the matter. Both are average players and why are Spurs trying to buy Arshavin and Santa Cruz..spurs are boring and want attention tap-up my arse!

But nothing was done about Real over Ronaldo, so Ferguson (if he did do it) probably thinks it's ok.

Kinda true about the fans forgeting but as i said before, hopefully the fans wont give in to easy to him but i guess your right, personally unless Ronaldo comes out and says something like he'd never want to leave (isnt going to happen) i doubt il ever cheer him as much as before etc.

The Berba thing seems silly, I haven't heard SAF say anything about Berbatov but just said "We have bidded for a player" I dont see anything wrong with that, i could see the issue if he was name dropping or consistently saying stuff about him every day etc. I think we'll start the Season with a 4-3-3 and then once Ronaldo returns we choose between the 4-4-2 or 4-3-3.

Start of Season:
--Tevez---Berbatov--Rooney
--Carrick-Scholes-Hargreaves-

Ronaldo options:
-----Rooney--Berbatov-------
Nani--Scholes-Carrick--Ronaldo

Or:

Berbatov would do just perfect for us.He isnt lazy at Spurs,more like unmotivated,he plays well when the team plays well.With the higer standards,no disrespect,at United,I guess he will enjoy football more.He dosent need to be mobile with us as players behind him like Rooney,Tevez and Ronaldo swap and change positions throughout 90 minutes.He just needs to be upfront,hold up the ball,bring others into play and ofcourse,score goals.Perfect foil for Rooney,Tevez and Ronaldo to go about their usual business.

As many have said he is exactly what was/is needed to help Rooney develop as a striker, hopefully Rooney can really have a amazing season with Berbatov playing him in etc. and doing the aerial work for him.

United squad in Africa now.Looks like the starlets are back.I guess some of them would leave us for good before the season starts.I would wanna keep Evans,Gibson,Simpson and Lee Martin.
What do you guys think?

We might not get much money for him!!! If we get £3m I'd be happy, wouldn't be suprised if it was higher or lower though, you cant tell these days.

Well Evans is definietly staying to replace Pique, Fergie said. I suppose whether Simpson stays or not depends on Gary Neville's fitness but I know the staff think highly of him. Can't really see a place for the other two yet, we've got quite a lot of players in their position, maybe keep them on for the Carling Cup etc and then loan them out for the rest of the season?

1-1 was the final score, Didnt watch it properly apart from the last 30-25 minutes. Campbell did well when he came on, still see him being sold.

It was medicore performance but its just run out really for match fitness.

Silly mistake from O'Shea to gift them a penalty few chances from us Vidic header pretty close. Rooney looked very unfit but whats new great cross from Tevez for Eagles to head in to make it 1-1. :))

Really thought was O'Shea did have it on net Stream though and was glancing back and fourth.

Camera focused on O'Shea thought he brought him down as he looked pissed off.
