Here is my 2 cents. If Real Madrid are mad enough to offer us 70+ Million I reckon the Americans will see the $$$ in their eyes and sell him. Then they will give £20 for Fergie to sign another player or 2 and bag the £50 Mil to help pay off debts that they have.....

Pretty bad influence for a young shattered brat there. Instead of everyone trying to put real sense in his head and how big he already is at this club. He doesn't need to go anywhere. But if money rules the football world then nothing can be done about it. Why can't we have owners who care about football more than money?

Thats just how things are mate... Before the days of Big Money in Football owners used to care what happened on the pitch.

Take it this way.He will be under pressure to win fans over if he stays after these 'dramas'.Lets not say he hadnt done it before.If he goes,we will pocket a big sum of money and maybe a player or two included.

Looks like a win-win situation for me because ultimately,NO ONE is bigger than this club itself!

I will be quite sad to see such a Young Talent leave when for the last 2 seasons he has really delivered and shown why he is a World Class player. United is a World Class club and players like Ronaldo really should want to stay, why go to Madrid? Your playing for the team you helped win the CL with..... Ah well if he goes then he goes.... :( Fucking Madrid I hate them!

I don't think Ronaldo is going for the money, more it's his dream to play, and he likes Spain etc.

If Ron ask's for 150k and signs a 4 yrar contract, we would give it to him I guess.

COME ON GERMANY! :) Today could be the defining day in the Ronaldo saga, Real have told Ron they won't do anything unless he comes out and says he wants to move to them, and if Germany win tonight then we should be looking to getting a answer. the only downside is Real have today said they will only pay a "reasonably" price for him, so from going to we'll pay a 100M and cost isnt a issue to lure the player there now saying different stuff? i think there confident he's gonna say that hes going. I'll go Mental if Ronaldo goes for 30-40M he should be aiming for doubling that.

I would be happy not to worry about all these Ronaldo saga until the man himself opens his mouth in declaration for whatever decision he made.End of.

Meanwhile,our brilliant Brasilian,Anderson injured his knee in Brasil's world cup qualifying game against Argentina and get this,it was Javier Mascherano who crocked him!...hope he would be good for pre-season training.

Im sorry but there is no way Ronaldo is worth anywhere near 70-80m, Yes he has had an amazing season but so has Arshavin and hes available for 13m id be very suprised if it was anything over 50m from Madrid.

Oh he's not worth it, noone is. He's not even worth £13m, noone is, but the point is, we have him and Madrid want him, coupled with the 'money is no object' approach that they have publicly said they are taking, then we should take them to the cleaners and get as much as possible. I don't even think £80m is enough.

I'm interested to see what happens. Football's financial bubble is sure to burst in the next year or so, so to get £40-45m cash for one player would be a great deal.

But it also appears that the Mancs won't roll over. Can they afford to keep a player who is unhappy? Despite what red nose says, they won't let him rot in the reserves. If it's a matter of pride, not wanting to conceed that Real are a bigger club, then they're being foolish. Take the money!

Seems like were adamant were not selling. I don't get that quote Rune? i thought he said he's going so is he actually thinking that a couple of good goals for Real will make United fans happy ?WTF. just let him go already he is tarnishing the clubs name the more Ronaldo talks and acts like he is bigger than United.
