I'll raise my hand and admit that maybe there is not a lot left for him to achieve at Man Utd but what I meant was that players like Giggs, Scholes and Gary Neville have stayed at OT and won many trophies and so my wishful thinking was that maybe he should do the same. But tbh, it's quite obvious to me that he will leave. Maybe not this summer but in the next 2/3 years probably.

His mother was interviewed this afternoon and she clearly stated Ronaldo isn't going anywhere. She said Ronaldo has told her he'll play for Manchester for at least one more season.

Its not about whats left to achieve at United. Its sad if all teh players think this way. It aint all about money you know. Whatever happened to loyalty? Whatever happened to becoming club icons? We need the Giggs', the Nevilles, the Scholes', the Schmeichels, the Cantonas etc in the club.

nice if it was true! however even if it was he is no replacement for ronnie - controversial but IMO Kaka is the worst "world player of the year" of the last ten years! great player, he just isnt in the same league as ronaldinho, ronaldo, zidane, rivaldo...and now cristiano.

im clearly in the minority! ijust feel he is a little overrated...i do agree he is one of the worlds best,i just dont think he reaches the levels of the aformentioned players!however as a milan fan, u watch him more than me! do u not think if he was that good milan would have performed better this year? no champs league...or decent run in the comp this year?

This year, he was injured for half the season. Against Arsenal in both legs he was suffering an injury, in fact he had an operation after the 2nd Arsenal game. In the league the whole team was awful and Kaka and Inzaghi were the only ones scoring goals for us.

ok fair, i was a tad harsh, i didnt realise he'd been injured this season. i still dont feel he is the top, top, top tier - elite tier - of footballer, but thats just my opinion. he is undoubtly in the top 3 current footballers and a fantastic professional.
maybe i need to see more of him in action. i must admit i was at the champ lge game last year when we won 3-2 at OT...kaka was brilliant, so quick over the first 5 yrds..however i do stand by my point in bold.
what is your opinion of pato? could he be a top tier (top 5 in the world) footballer in your opinion milanista?

Well well well!.....Seems like the Ronaldo story continues, i don't think theres anychance he will be playing anywhere expect Man Utd next season but the problem seems to be should we sell him instead now? 100M? hard to turn down and if the Kaka stories are true i would be more than happy to have that outcome. the problem is SAF and co have already said there's no way he's leaving, they would luck stupid if they accepted him leaving so i cant see him leaving but i think if he wants to go we should let him, it would help Rooney and if we could snatch maybe Robinho from them and splash the cash on players like Benzema/Kaka it would be worth it.

It was ridiculous - it was on all the Spanish websites such as Marca and AS! Theyre the ones stirring up shit about Ronaldo not wanting to see Fergie anymore.
They then apologized saying it was all fake.

Yeah, that's true but I don't think Ronaldo wants to move this summer, though. I got the feeling that he does want to play for Madrid at some stage of his career but maybe not this early.
