he has won the league twice, an fa up, a carling cup, and now the champions league... what else is there? What are the good reasons for him to leave anyway? Because he wants a new challenge? Because he wants to play in the Bernabau? He can still achieve a lot at United, which is why I don't understand his mindset.

I agree. Let him go, if he doesn't wanna play then it'll affect his performances, and therefore his value, so we may as well cash in while he's at his highest.
No player is bigger than the team and all his pathetic contradicting comments and sheer arrogance are really undermining Ferguson. One minute he says he's staying, next minute he'll decide 'soon'. Just fucking say what you're doing so it can be done with and everyone can move on.
It's so plain to see that he plays for the sole purpose of being the best player in the world. I know that's not such a bad thing, it's every lad's dream but not many players display it like he does. He doesn't really care about the team, so long as people see him as the hero. Remember in the match against Kiev? Rooney and Tevez had both scored and he was getting so pissed off, even though the match was won. So he went on run after run without passing it until HE scored so HE could get some glory. Sorry if thats pessimistic but in my opinion it's true.
I say take the £80m or whatever, get a few quality players in and we'll move on, like we always do.
Well whats left for him to win at United?? Maybe he wants a new challenge. Real Madrid are the biggest and most glamourous club in the World. What are the good reasons for him to leave anyway? If we lose him, I wonder if we'll revert back to a more traditional formation, or if we'll continue with the fluid 'total football' one.
I hope Ronny stays, I really do but if he doesn't I can live with that - we've won the lot with him, the guy is a genius and I hope that he'll do well at Madrid, just like I wished Beckham well.
It's gonna be an exciting new season as defending European AND English champions - everyone will wanna piece of United again and teams will want to beat us even more. But I am confident with our squad and look forward to doing the double over Liverpoo AGAIN, maybe going for the F.A. Cup and it would be nice beating City - we owe them that!![]()
I assume that is a typo and he meant sign
Rumours are that hes going to get 300,000 a week and Transfer money is around 75M. Quite a record.
£75m will chip a little bit away at your Glazer debt!
