Manchester United Thread

Well we just don't know mate. There is one thing you get with him EVERY time though and that's 100% commitment. I think it's a huge plus having him back at this stage of the close season.
 
It depends if he's match fit really. No point rushing him back after all this time. Hargreaves can cover if need be, he was impressive in that role against Villa... and can put in a wicked cross as well. :))
 
Yep i agree, Gaz is back but i don't think he'll even feature until the Blackburn game.

Park is going thru a bright patch isnt he? Two crucial assist in the last two games...That line up you got is pretty tight Mike but I would think Carrick would just play infront of our backline for extra protection and slot Anderson in there ahead of Tevez,who had an off day against Boro.

Great news about Rio...a big relief to be honest.

I LOVE Champions League weeks - for me it's the best competition in the World now. Fuck the World Cup.
 
:D CL weeks always has something special to it , maybe its the song and the quality of matches. You never know what will happen.

I've got a feeling that Hrgreaves and Park might play together to break up their midfield with Rooney up front on his own.

I'm a bit worried about Brown to be honest as I think he's a bit reckless sometimes. He got skinned a few times last week and is likely to pull them back in that kind of situation. Still open I reckon, if Rio is not fully fit. We need an early goal
 
I can see Park playing, he seems to have strengthened up alot recently - he was winning headers against Boro!
I'd go for (if SAF realises that Giggs needs "resting"):

Ronaldo (free role)
Tevez Rooney
 
Park was like this at this time last season, he can be extremely effective once match fit. Very good asset for us to have.

I want to see Ronaldo up front and Anderson pushed up as well, maybe alongside Rooney.

Yep, as a squad player though because he's very useful because he can play across the midfield and there aren't too many weaknesses in his game.
