So how many times you been to Stamford Bridge? I bet you've been supporting Chelsea for....oooh....three years? As all the opposing fans sing "Where were you when you were SHIT?!" I bet the nearest you've been to Chelsea is your tv at the weekend. :lol:

But you got to agree, ManU "fans" sitting at OT are not all fans. I guess out of 76,000 only 10,000 might be real ones. Most come to eat their Prawn Sandwiches and cant even spell football. Even Fergu-son and Roy Keane agreed to this.

I disagree mate. If a supporter makes the effort to pay £30 and travel to see his team play, then he's a proper fan in my book.

Just watching it on the tv week-in, week-out is a different story my friend. You seem to forget that you get the quiet supporters at Anfield, Stamford Bridge & The Emirates too.

All my opinion of course.

Were all the same when it comes to teams doing well/shite, if England won the world cup all the haters wouldnt hold there hands up and say they were wrong, they would be loving it.

Sure they do pay but do they really watch?? And yeah there are similar people at Emirates, Stamford and Anfield. But they are there even at OT. Its like people go to the Opera and doze off over there but still would go next time because everyone else likes Opera even if they themselves dont. And these type of people can be found at all Stadiums. The ONly thing that matters in How many are they.

Mate you have a short memory. Highbury wasn't exactly brimming with atmosphere hence it's nickname "Highbury the library".

Anyway, we're going off-topic - my point was about Delta calling us glory hunters when Chelsea have MORE than their fair share of those! I think only Terry Butcher fan and maybe one or two others are real Chelsea supporters here.

Yeah so thats what i'm saying. All clubs have these type of fans. Even Arsenal has and ManU also does. Anyways about the Glory Hunting fans there might be some but not all are. Similarly Chelsea also have Glory Hunting fans but i dont think Delta is one, he knows about the Chelsea facts very well.

Anyone could know the facts about a football team - you only have to Wikepedia "Chelsea Football Club" and you'll have all the info you need. :)

That's the thing though. If your team is doing well and you happen to support them you're a "glory hunter". It's such an old and boring label to put on fans now anyway - all it's saying is "We're jealous of your team beacuse you keep winning so I'll call you a glory hunter because I cannot attack you with anything else."

Well thats wrong. But i have seen many people who just say that their club plays good even if they havent. and try to accuse the other teams of something. and worst thing is sometimes they dont even know the names of players of First Team, who scored the goal they dont know but still they'll support that club becoz it WINS!! well all these types may not be here in forums but they do exist. and They are Glory Hunters!!

Plan M, i think you're halucinating a bit mate. No one's 'jealous' of your winning. Remember, as a football 'fan' you need to know very well, this year, it may be you on top, next year, you never know dear 'fan' that you're team or my team or arsenal or chelsea, anyone can be relegated, come last, lose out on a european place, you know, anything can happen. Dont get too orgasmic over 1 or 2 seasons my friend. Times will change for your team, my team, arsenal, chelsea, hell, even Hull city may win the league next year.

And about your point on jealousy, dont worry, every club has something to be proud of. And when someone comes and discusses stuff in here, i've seen that your reaction normally is to either speak of jealousy or crap like that. And you go around calling others 'biased'. Youre such a big big hypocrite Plan M.

1) Being to Stamford Bridge or to Old Trafford isn't brought in the question Mr. Plan M. My statement was a general statement and not meant for all the ManU supporters!!! I have been supporting it for some time unfortunately I'm still young and ain't as "old" as you!! Also though I have been closest to the TV I'm sure I know a lot more than you think I know about my club so back off!!:NONO:
2) Its a good thing to support your team for the past 20 years!! Glorious you might say those 20 years good for you amazing I say!! But that means my post wasn't meant for you or the lot supporting their club. Mine was the run of the mill supporters jumping on the bandwagon just cause they saw one off match of ManU beating a team or maybe saw Ronaldo mingle with a Celebrity. 3)According to your logic only a fan who pays the entrance fee and has the snacks from the snack bar is a proper fan? What the hell are you talking about?? I have seen fans more bloody hell dedicated to the game though unfortunately due to circumstances cannot visit it but always have hope that they can visit it once at least in their life!! Now thats a fan ain't it??
4) The fact you made about me being a real Chelsea fan is uncalled.. Also in a recent article i read ManU is the most silent stadium as their crowds don't make the required noise at all.. brings back the quotes of Roy Keane doesn't it?? Chelsea might have their share of glory hunting fans true which team doesn't?? They are drifters... and again plan m by your accounts I can always say you "googled" Manchester United and learned your facts?? :LOL:
5) And lastly I ain't bashing the "real" fans nor are jealous on how a team does. We are bashing the uneducated fans who don't know shit and talk like they were born strategist!!

Plan M hasnt been to India Delta. He's still un-aware of the truths about the badwagon jumpers. He's sensitive like he said himself, so he takes everything to heart, even when it isnt directed at him.

Anyway, sad to hear about Vidic though. One of the more decent lads in the game.

Well Mike, noone called you a Glory Hunter. Its only that there are many ManU fans who are. Why do you take it on yourself?? Dont crib on this Glory Hunting thing. Its a fact and we cant change it. For any club we cant change whats already there.

He always does this when he gets questions thrown at him which he doesn't want to answer. It's his way of me putting someone on the ignore list, he just posts random pictures and tries to deflect the attention to something else ;)

No, I usually address peoples questions Dags - I don't throw my toys out of the pram and stick people on "ignore" when I disagree with their opinions like you. I've been very busy with work and FIFA Web today - if Lak and Delta have questions for me, then fire away lads. I'm not trawling through the thread though. :)

Good post by the way Beboq, spot-on! I think we'll revert back to 4-4-2 on Sunday mate, with Giggs on one wing & the genius on the other with Tevez & Wazza up-front. :)
