Tevez could be too costly for us but would be great if a right price can be sorted out for him.I dont know why you lot are drooling over Luca Toni and Vicenzo Iaquinta? No doubt they are good targetman's but I dont think we would try to sign anyone above 30 these days...

Well to be fair it would be our 10th prem title but more importantly are 17th which would leave us so close to the Scouse's record

yeah with all the speculation to buy Toni and Iaquinta, it seems they are after a striker. I dont understand 1 thing though. When we buy extra players, they crib for 1st team football, but when ManU does no1 utters a word. WHY??

In all seriousness, I guess it'll give pat a rest, not as if he looks like he needs it though!

Wellbeck is a funny one. After all that hype about getting him up and ready for the 1st team, all he did was play in a friendly once. I know he's done well in reserves, but Rossi was a machine there and never made the leap fully. I hope I'm wrong, but I fear he might be another farmed out to never return :(

Toni at 30 will score goals until he is 34. He doesnt need pace to score 25+ goals a year. He's very strong and can shoot with both feet and score headers. I'd take him anyday. Iaquinta is 28.

Italian players do have a knack of reaching their peak a little late. Anyways, at 30, Toni is one of the top 5 strikers in the world.

Good points. We bought Sheringham when he was 30 and wasn't bad for us! ;)

Wouldn't suit are style of play in my opinion, we need a mobile striker who can drop off, who has pace and can finish clinically, i think Torres would have been perfect for us to be fair, and in all honesty Toni is a good poucher but we had the king at that and let him go;))

I would be over the moon if we got Toni. He would take a lot of the pressure of scoring goals off Ronaldo's shoulders. Plus, he would give us a different dimension to our attacking play. I wouldn't mind if we changed our style of play to suit him as long as it brings the best out of him because he is capable of scoring 30-40 goals a season.

I wouldn't Bash the style of our play for me is simple amazing:-... and we already have a second option and people keep forgetting that. Manucho seems like a real talent and apparently he had a great performance last night for Angola again its on the United site
