I think Pool are gonna nick it. Torres will get at least 1 chance, and the form he's in...scary.
I'd settle for a pool victory if arse and chavs draw...
Then again, I'm probably just being pessimistic. What I would like to to see is a return to that '442' thing that used to work for us. With those strikers playing up front, wingers on the wings and midfielders in the middle. I know it's complicated, but I really think we've got the personnel...

theres talk that this is VDS last season with us with Foster becoming automatic number 1 next season..
he was great on saturday, he won us the 3 points really...
I say keep him in against the scousers, hopefully he'll get enough games to get his 1st prem medal!!

He’s a physical lad and we have to deal with that but I think Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand have the height and ability to do that. Of course, losing Jussi Jaaskelainen is definitely a big blow for Bolton because he’s one of the best goalkeepers in the division, but they have experience in Ivan Campo and Kevin Nolan. If we perform well and take our chances then we’ll win the match. But it’s important we respect our opponents. Some of our football recently has been terrific and there’s good penetration in the team. It’s encouraging that we’re making so many chances… perhaps the forwards just need to relax a little in front of goal. Then the goals will come.”
